Dr. Carla Cecilia Mccrave, MD

We were not pleased with her approach to care and switched pediatricians. There is clear lack of communication between her and nurses for treatments, she is short, gruff, and intrusive in her bedside manner, and is not up to date on the medical literature. She has left me frustrated (20 years experience as a physiologist) and my wife in tears. We recently needed a last minute appointment and when she noticed we switched primary pediatricians she became defensive, short, expressed anger, and left the room upset - leaving my spouse in tears. Avoid at all costs. Digging deeper into her track record, every few years she has moved on to smaller and smaller hospitals and is now in a state known for horrible medical care. Her track record, combined with our experience and those of others strongly suggest a repeated pattern of poor patient care. Even nurses would get quiet when we asked their opinion. None have said, "She's nice and must be a fluke." Bulk of nurse responses are, "Oh. McCrave."
