Dr. Carlos Alfredo Santos, MD

These people are rude, inconsiderate, and very know it alls! I have hated coming here (after 25 years) because of the treatment by Andrea, who thinks she owns the place! She needs to brush up on her customer service skills...no wonder there is such a turnover in that dept.

I love Dr. Santos. He is the best. I just had a c-section, and he delivered our baby girl. I must say that he did a simply amazing job. I am healing so good, baby feels great. I am extremely grateful and would highly recommend him.

I went to visit Dr. Santos in 1999 after having 2 miscarriages in less than a year, immediately I was given all the testing imaginable, he was kind, thoughtful, and very reassuring. This was while he still had his small office on Center road. If it wasn't for him, my daughter would not have been born in 2000. Fast Forward 17 years, after struggling for years with bad periods, clots, bleeding, pain, he sat me down and gave me all of my options. If he had not pushed me to have a hysterectomy, I would not be here today due to an infection that I had. He as a surgeon is so skilled that I was able to have it done robotically even with all the scaring, adhesions and infection I had. In his words it was the worst surgery he has ever done, everything in the OB/GYN manual was involved in my surgery. If it wasn't for him, I would not be here, and I am forever grateful. His office staff and billing department are another story. I had a 10.00 balance a week before surgery, the office… was going to cancel my surgery for a lousy 10.00 literally the day before surgery. Had the infection I had burst for 10.00 I am sure it would have cost them much more than that for a a lawsuit. His receptionists are rude and short, most of the nursing staff is in a rush and don't care to listen. I do miss his small office on Center road, but will continue to go, just to see him.

The Best. Great effective office staff. The system in place gets you in and out. As for Dr. Santos he is just the BEST, caring and giving. He will spend the time the patient until they have all their questions answered. If you are looking for quality care consider this practice.

Dr. Santos has been my Dr. Santos has been my doctor for 27 yrs. He is a wonderful caring doctor. All my experiences with him have been perfect.

Dr. Santos is a great doctor and has great bedside manners I can not say enough about him. As for the billing office and Colleen the billing manager she is on the other very rude and does not take into consideration a patients well being and what their situation is. I missed making a payment and made portion of it and then wanted to pay the remaining off and they decided to discharge me and send me to collections for 32 dollars. I have been a along standing patient with Dr. Santos for more then 15 years and this billing office is a joke. they refuse to let me talk to the doctor or his nurse so I can get this situation resolved. but then again I will not give up such a great doctor and will fight this so I am able to continue to see Dr. Santos and when I do I will et him know what kind of people there are working in the billing office and how rude and inconsiderate. I am absolutely disgusted by the billing office and the ay they work .

So, I became a patient last month. The initial visit went well, though I learned that I was not going to be seen by a Dr., but by some other "professional." My pap came back abnormal & I was informed of such, and an appointment was made for a colposcopy & biopsies. I had chosen the Lancaster office as a result of it being around the corner from me & unbeknownst to me, I was scheduled for the next appointment in Orchard Park-I learned this when I received the appointment reminder call-I was not notified of this when the appointment was made. When I called to discuss this, as well as to indicate my preferred office, it was explained to me that Dr. Santos, who had been assigned to me NEVER goes to the Lancaster office...imagine my surprise! So, upon further discussion, I was advised to go to Orchard Park for the procedure...So, I go to Orchard Park for the procedure, where I was asked questions that were not relevant, or necessary, to perform this, or any other, medical procedure. … When I asked the relevancy of these questions, I was provided with an attitude (2 different staff members) and told that these are procedural questions. After my vitals were taken, I was asked to provide a urine sample, which, at that time, I was unable to produce. I was then returned to the lobby, as the procedure room was occupied, unbeknownst to the staff members. When I was called back, 20 minutes later, the urine sample was no longer necessary, which I found quite puzzling, but whatever. The staff member that brought me back to the procedure room then asked me why I had such an attitude towards her-she obviously has never been faced with the possibility of cancer, or had such a procedure-excuse me for being nervous! Needless to say, once the procedure was complete, by a very impatient, rude individual, I was informed that my results should be received within 7-10 days...well, this time frame has passed & still no word! I then attempted too go through their "patient portal" located on their website-I supplied all required information, to learn that OB/GYN associates had disabled this service...So, if you're looking for incompetence, rudeness, lies and then some, this is definitely the place for you, if you're looking for professionalism, I would highly recommend going elsewhere!

He is Bilingual (which helps a lot) never in a rush, we wrote down questions in regards to our pregnancy and he always answered them in a courteous and friendly manner. Overall he is very professional and very nice human been.Great Doctor will recommend him in a blink.

dr santos is a wonderful doctor. i am so glad that he performed my hysterectomy. his diagnois was right on and he has wonderful bedside manner. i would recommend him to anyone. God bless dr santos.

Dr. Santos is wonderful...I never thought I would have a male gyno but Dr. Santos is so nice and caring!!
