Dr Cathy Chapman

She totally disregarded the dx that I was referred to follow her about. She gave me a dx that she wanted me to have. I informed my MD and he suggested that I have a bx to rule out what SHE dx me with. After the bx came back negative, she replied, "Will I guess you don't have ____ after all, I guess it is ________. Her staff was nice but HER no sir/ma'am. She never looked me in the eye during my WHOLE five minute appt and had the nerve to send me bills. What made me almost fall out of the bed was a letter BEGGING for money to support her for some bicycle marathon that she solicited donations for. I would seen my dead dog to see that lady and my dog has been dead over 12 years.

Don’t know where this woman found her staff or which box of cereal she got her license from. All she is interested in is money. If you seriously need help don’t use her!

The Staff & Dr. Chapman is always very nice. Dr. Chapman is very nice and explains everything so you can understand what is wrong with you. I have been seeing her over 5 years and everyone in my family goes to her. She is the best Rheumatology I have found in Memphis, TN.

The office is staff is VERY rude and this office has had to pay many fines for Medicare fraud

Don't waste your time. The staff is extremely unprofessional and extremely rude. Lots of $ spent on test, no diagnosis and can barely get my test results. Awful awful awful!

VERY rude receptionist & manager. Doctor spends more time on computer than with patient. They are STRICTLY about money & NO care for patient at all. I've been overcharged for EACH visit & had to be refunded. Read the other reviews posted. They are not made up. In all my years I've never seen anything like it. Doctors take an oath of God. This doctor & her staff are heartless, inconsiderate, & have no compassion for others. Run & tell your friends to run. There are many more complaints out there. A lot of the patients are elderly & have no way to complain.

Staff is not courteous. Only concerned with collecting your money. Does not check HRA/FSA before charging. Dr. does not have much of a bedside manner. More concerned with the computer than me as a patient. When asking questions, nothing is fully explained, just kind of brushed off. Not returning, and would not recommend to anyone!

The front desk personnel was very rude on the phone. I never got to see the Dr. because the confused front staff confused my appt. They then said I missed an appt. and charged me a missed appt. fee. I never even saw the Dr. I tried to explain my situation but the rude secretary said he fee would not change. They sent me bill after bill for a missed office visit that was not even my mistake. The secretaries also work for a dermatologist that work at a different location. It is very confusing. Would not recommend just because of the secretarial staff.

I love Dr. Chapman. She has been very good to me and tries to help in any way possible. I hope to continue seeing her for my needs. She's great!

Dr. Chapman's front desk staff was unprofessional and unfriendly. Very poot customer service skills. Dr. Chapman spent 5 minutes with me and "maybe" made eye contact with me one time. Mostly, she typed away on her computer while asking me robotic type questions. She then proceeded to hand me a computer printout of what she "thought" I might have and prescribed me medicine for that diagnosis. However, said she needed to run other tests to rule out other possible issues, but never took the time to explain to me what those issues were. I have suffered pain for many years now and went to Dr. Chapman in hopes of answers. I left with disappointment and discouragement and in pain. Dr. Chapman was inattentive to my needs as a patient along with her staff. Do not waste your time visiting this doctor, your health is too important. I am now left in pain and will have to take the time to find a new doctor.
