Dr. Charles S. C. Garnette, MD

Dr garnette has a horrible personality. Smug, arrogant and entitled. And his surgical skill is non-existent. Not sure how he has a license to practice medicine.

My dad had a cardiovascular surgery and we were fortunate to have Dr. Garnette as his surgeon. I would like to say thank you for your professionalism, for your more than outstanding job; your special gift to take care about my dad as his surgeon and made my dad feel he was in the best hands for his surgery. Me and my family cannot thank you enough for everything you did. God bless you Dr. Garnette.

Advertises "free" consult but it is not "free." It is billed to insurance or $200. This is NOT free. Misleading so what else is misleading with this practice ?

Terrible experience. Dr. Garnette is a smug and unapologetic man. He frequently kept me waiting over an hour in the waiting room and 30 minutes in the exam room before showing himself. This last appointment he kept me waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes in the waiting room and then 30 minutes in the exam room. 2 hours total and then when I told him this was unacceptable his only response was to make a stone face and say, "I'm busy". It takes a month to get an appointment with him and then another month just to discuss results from the previous visit. When I told him that I was frustrated and in pain, i'd like to figure out what is causing the issue his response was, "it's not that bad, i've seen far worse." This guy is lazy, has terrible bedside manner, and has the personality/facial expressions of a rock. He doesn't really care about you. AVOID.

What does one do when their trusted surgeon retires! I began asking questions such as who is qualified, who is compassionate, who is knowledgeable and for the type of surgery that I need (and is on-going) what the name Dr. Charles Garnette. The appointment was made and because I am not only the patient, but a retired nurse, I knew what I was looking for. We entered the outer office and was quickly greeted by the receptionist who was efficient and personable. My appointment time was for 10:30am and I was called by 10:10! So far so good! Vitals sign were taken by the nurse, who also was efficient and friendly. She led my husband and myself into the exam room and told us the doctor would be with us shortly. Not even five minutes went by when Dr. Garnette presented himself. Both my husband and I liked him straight away. A hearty handshake and actually listened to (almost) my life story and why I was there. He understood my needs immediately, told me exactly what he was going to… accomplish, and asked if I had any further questions. When the visit was over, he personally took us to his appointment secretary and explained my needs and how soon I needed the surgical appointment. He warmly bid us goodbye. I was set up immediately for my surgical date, given a brochure on pre and post operative istructions. All in all, out of 4 stars, I would rate Dr. Garnette 5 stars! His office is well run, his knowledge is well rounded. This doctor came highly recommended to me by five different people and now I know why. I would definitely recommend Dr. Charles Garnette to anyone in need of vascular surgery. He brings the doctor/patient relationship back to life!!

Dr Garnette is the absolute best in medicine. His skill and devotion to perfection is unmatched in his profession.

I cannot imagine better more attentive care anywhere else. The best!
