Dr. Charles Henry Black IV, DO

I saw Dr Black for knee pain as a result of a "popping" sound and feeling in my knee when I was walking. When giving me options of how to proceed, I asked "what do you recommend" as that is the reason I went to see the doctor, to get his medical opinion, and he states " I don't play that game". "I give options, you tell me what you want, I don't decide for you." I'm paying him to give me his opinion and he won't. He then proceeds to tell me that my xrays are normal but in another view, the knee cap is tilted to one side .... that's not my description of "normal". The only exam he did was to hold his hand slightly on my knee and have me bend and straighten it, he never palpated it or anything, although he charted that he did. When I was getting ready to leave, he said we would get an MRI but it wasn't going to show any problems "knock on wood" - and he knocked on his head....... Not really the comments you want from someone who is supposed to be helping you....

Dr. Charles Black is the best!

Very personal and down to earth. Easy to talk to and gives it to you straight. Won't try to have you take test or procedures that you don't need.
