Dr. Charles Christ Sevastos, DO

I was a new patient looking for a new primary care doctor I was waiting for the doctor to come in to the examining room for the first time, I took my mask off and it was hanging on my ear because I was in a room by myself, the doctor walked in and shouts at me “first of all put that mask on” He was very rude and spoke to me in a very rude unprofessional manner. I will not be going back to this doctor. First impressions mean a lot and this doctor first impression to me as a new patient was rude! As he took down my medical history that he should’ve looked at before he came into my room we went over all my medical history he was about to walk out the door when I said to him “aren’t you gonna ask me if I have any issues right now? I have never in my entire 68 years have ever been treated so rudely and unprofessionally by a doctor in my life! His excuse “ Your down south now, things are different here!

If I could leave one star I would. I’ve never been treated more poorly by a healthcare provider. “Care” is in the title of the job and it’s clear that he doesn’t. This office checked me in, had me wait, and then ultimately refused care saying that I didn’t confirm the appointment. After waiting 2 months for this appointment, I arrived at 1:10 for a 1:30 appointment and was checked in after waiting at 1:17. I heard the Dr. S ask the receptionist what time his 1:30 arrived and when she told him 1:17 I heard him say that was “too late.” After waiting longer, the nurse came from the back, called me over, and turned me away for care being that I hadn’t “confirmed the appointment.” I played the confirmation voicemail to the nurse that I had received at 10:30 am on the previous day only to be told it was out of her hands. Total lack of caring and empathy. After reading some of the other reviews on here I feel I am better off having not seen him. Terrible experience.

My husband and I moved to Sun City from Pittsburgh, Pa two years ago. We had dealt with UPMC’s finest since my husband had a few problems requiring specialists. Dr. Savastos in our opinion ranks right up with the best. Always willing to express his opinion on what he thinks would be better treatment for each of us along with presenting some facts to back it up. Only the best take the time to do this. Our appointment times are always within a ten minute wait, he is courteous, knowledgeable, and truthful. We could not stand by and have someone give him such a low score. He is deserving of the highest score we can give. We trust him with making the right decisions and our happy to have found the best of Joseph Candler in this doctor.

Dr. Sevastos is our family physician. He is a very personable physician that my wife both agree is a very competent doctor. His diagnosis and treatments have all been spot on.

I love dr Sevastos. We followed him from his previous practice . HOWEVER, I just discovered that no doctor attends to his patients when he’s gone!! I called at 1:45.pm. Dr S on vacation. All doctors gone for the day. “Sorry ma’am”. I was told to go to urgent care if I needed help. And the first appointment I could get was in 2 weeks. Good luck with this practice. I wish dr Sevastos would leave this one.

Not pleased by his demeanor. Seemed disinterested. Staff was pleasant

This doctor is more thorough and spot on with his diagnosis. He also offers practical ways versus just prescriptions to help improve the quality of your life. He is proactive versus reactive in your care. I also like that he's engaged with me during the appointment versus tapping info into a computer. He is there for you and you feel it. His manner is personable, like a smart long time friend. Put simply, he cares!
