Dr. Charles C Sung, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Sung’s for 12 years. He has successfully performed 2 surgeries and countless eye injections. He has always been very professional and knowledgeable about my eye condition. Clinic wait time has improved but if there is an emergency Dr. Sung needs to attend to, you may have a longer wait time or can reschedule. This has only happened to me twice in 12 years! I have recommended Dr. Sung to friends and family and will continue to do so.

My husband has been seeing Dr. Sung for close to thirty years. Dr. Sung has always treated us both with dignity and respect. Dr. Sung has used his expertise to save my husband's vision several times, including on emergencies.

Overbooked dirty and poor medicine do not go there aalso billing is suspect

My mother-in-law has macular degeneration and has been going to Dr. Sung for treatment for about ten years. Because of him my mother-in-law has been able to keep her vision. Yes, his office is busy and there is a wait time, but well worth it. He is a doctor in high demand.

This place was horrible and that is an understatement. I had 1 visit and it took almost 4 hours from start to finish with this being my 1st and last appt there. I ended up with an eye infection a few days later which was in my opinion from the machines and unsanitary way the business was run. They literally lost me and then found me several times as you are moved from hall to hall like a herd of cattle. It was horrifying! I spoke to doc for only about 5 min with no answers for what I went there for. Please read these other reviews cuz I hope they are reviewed by the health department and people report them. They don't seem to care for sanitary conditions and it seemed like I was in a teaching hospital with no leader just to get no answers and no results. I went about a year ago and I never heard back about any of the test on the like 4 different machines. I will never go back.

Woke up with severe pain in my eye, contacted the office as they opened and they got me right in. Thank you Dr. Sung and staff for being so caring and kind!

Staff was not friendly, the whole experience was cold and unpleasant. To be honest when I was sitting in the very bland cement hallway, I felt like I was at a mental hospital you see in the movies? Staff seemed to be competent, however to this day I still don't know the results of the tests that were done, and it's been a couple months now. Would not recommend This clinic.

The doctor seems okay but like others said, the wait time is very long and the staff, particularly the one taking images of your eyes when they are dilated, is terrible. He got so frustrated with me when I was unable to look straight ahead into the bright light for him to get a good image of the retina, he threw up his hands at the end of the session and walked out. At least the older lady who injected the dye into my vein had patience. I would like to know how you even know if you're looking forward when your eye is totally numb and you are blinded by the bright light they are shining in your eye. After that appt. I decided never to go back to that place.

The office staff is not competent. This includes the nurses, billing and scheduling.

I love Dr. Sung. He is very compassionate. He listens and has been very helpful. His office staff is really hard to deal with. When my pharmacy called to verify a prescription it took 3 times and 3 days to get a response. The techs don't return calls for weeks not just days. Just a heads up with my experience.
