Dr. Christopher Andrew Olenec, MD

I had a appointment scheduled for a month and taken off work. Day before the office called in am and asked to move the time. I informed them I had work conflicts and couldn’t. They later called back and cancel the appoint in the late afternoon saying that I needed to come in for a office visit before rescheduling. Convenient as the told me earlier he had a conflict in the afternoon. If they were honest I wouldn’t be so put out but I do not feel they were. Would not recommend them.

I was given wrong course of medication and was finally able to get resolved by going elsewhere. Doctor is arrogant and dismissive. I was completely appalled by his unprofessionalism and bedside manner. I don’t recommend this doctor under any circumstance.

Dr. Olenec is excellent at being a specialty doctor in that he was very knowledgeable about Lynch Syndrome whereas there are not many Gastroenterologists that are. This disease can cause colon cancer and he explained what has to be done to look for this disease. Only reason did not give him a 5 star is his bedside manner. Not warm and fuzzy but when I am working with a life and death situation I will take a doctor that knows his stuff over bedside manner.

Dr. Olenec listens and actually cares. His dedication to his patients and profession is outstanding! He is everything you want in a physician -smart, compassionate, understanding & not condescending.

Dr. had poor bedside manner. Poor pt education. He came to me after my procedure and told me the results. That was great but I was still coming off the anesthesia and could not remember what he said. Glad me sister was there. Anyway he just seemed concerned to get to the next procedure to make that next dollar......

Very laid back attitude about my condition. Made me feel like I was being a baby. Gave me medicine for a condition that I did not have even when he tested me for the condition. Just brushed me off. Ended up having a life threatening conditon that may not have been as bad if caught earlier. Had to go to a different dr. to get the right diagnosis.

dr. olenec is a great doctor. i was so nervous but he made me calm and give us a great consultation day.. i would recommend him. also he has great nurse and assistant
