Was referred to Dr. Chiodo by my primary physician after I experienced a shattered calcaneus. Dr. Chiodo fully explained the results of my X-rays and CT scan in detail and expertly answered all our many questions. Due to the nature of the injury he did not recommend surgery. Throughout the 8 month long process of healing, and many visits, he has been outstanding. I work in the medical field and I always felt I was in the excellent hands of a true professional. I could not be more pleased with every aspect of my care. Additionally, his staff is outstanding. Especially, Rob Tebeau who was always able to work miracles coordinating visits and procedures. I would highly recommend Dr. Chiodo.

Saw the doctor and explained experiencing numbness and tightness a year after operation. I was told numbness did not bother him only pain. I asked could it be neuropathy and was told I was 66 and it was common for my age. He then proceeded to let me know he did a good surgery and the issues were more or less in my head. No test no Exrays nothing remember I’m 66

I met Dr Chiodo way back in 2003. I was referred to see him regarding my right ankle. I was so happy to meet this doctor by did not rate him at first because of his talented resume. He reminded me of the television doctor with all the want to be doctors following him around and asking questions and getting a very talented answer from this doctor. After a year and half of taking anti-inflammatory medicine to curve the swelling in ankle and not helping me out. This wonderful kind polite doctor took me as a patient. From that day I felt as ease and felt honored by his wisdom that I never received before hand. With follow ups and ex-rays he set a surgery date. I was worried about outcome due to surgery and fusing my ankle. Dr Chiodo was always there to answer any questions and calm my thoughts. In other words he was very kind and professional. After surgery he was there guiding me to recovery and for the first time in a year and half i didn't have to take any anti-inflammatory medicine. Very happy with outcome and also with his kind professional attitude and follow ups. I referred him to my friend and he also was extremely happy how the doctor treat people as people first not just a number.I am now seeing him again for another procedure on my other ankle and I am very confident in the outcome and very pleased he was available. If anyone needs a great down to earth doctor and a professional do choose Dr Christopher Chiodo you wont be sorry.

At first- yes, Dr Chiodo come off a little cold and some would say disinterested. I read all the reviews. I knew this going in. I was looking for an excellent surgeon- not a new best friend.
I have had multiple procedures with multiple surgeons. They were all considered “top” Boston doctors. Dr Chiodo is by far the best. He not only got to know me as a patient; he got to know me as a person and really cared about how my pain impacted my daily wellbeing.
I now live just outside of Manhattan. New York City is full of surgeons... I still make the trip to Boston to see Dr. Chiodo.

Dr. Chiodo removed highly painful cysts from below my ankle bone. The surgery was conducted with excellent precision, which helped with a speedy post surgery recovery. His true attention to my questions and concerns prior to surgery was evident and comforting as I headed into surgery.
