He is thorough and knows what he's doing. He will tell you like it is and has your best life in mind. I feel so much better and I have him to thank for it.

Should have avoided hip arthroscopy for FAI at all costs. Surgery and lack of recovery ruined my hip and created spine issues. Team was accomodating while busy, but suggested additional procedures which directly contributed to this negative result. I expected more attention to anatomic impacts and even had to turn down the suggestion for simultaneous knee + hip FAI arthroscopy. Truly hope that MDs and PT get in sync to prevent this type of scenario and outcome. The encouragment after all this was to come back when my hips need to be replaced. What's the point of risky arthroscopy at a younger age when folks who skip it and wait for replacement are far better off throughout life?

I had a great experience with Dr. Larson. I had 2 surgeries on my hip prior to seeing Larson and was still having issue with the joint. Dr. Larson performed the same surgery but corrected everything that the other surgeon skimped on. He did a wonderful job. I was very impressed with his work. I will now only see Dr. Larson for future issues. Was very nice, kind and respectful. Best doctor I've ever dealt with.

Don't do the surgery for fai hip. I did not have successful results even after several rounds of PT. Now he says there is nothing he can do. You sure got my money. I am suffering from constant stabbing pain in my groin and lower back. My whole life is restricted because of the chronic pain. Thanks for nothing.

I'm sure he is an amazing surgeon, hands down, but I was disappointed at my clinic appointment. A long wait time for terrible service. He did not explain anything thoroughly and had poor bedside manner. I was disheartened and did not expect my outcome from my appointment. I felt like he did not value my time and that I was a number. He was also in a hurry to get out of the room.

I went in having been told by another surgeon that a hip replacement and second knee reconstruction would be required. Dr.Larson , knowing my age and previous history, encouraged me to try a new type of physical therapy first and come back for another evaluation later. He performed minor surgery and I am back into athletics/fitness. I feel he talked to me honestly and thouroughly explained everything.

I had a hip scope done by Dr. Larson in March. I am back to living a pain free life. Even started running again. He's amazing. I've heard his boney work described as near perfect. I have also been told by several physical therapists in the hip community that he is one of 4 docs leading the country in outcomes for hip scope. So, glad I chose his as my Dr.

Waited 3 full months for an appt and he spent FIVE MINUTES with me! Arrogant and dismissive, terrible communicator.

Just had my hip scoped by Dr. Larson (labral repair). He was indeed busy in the clinic, but on surgery day was very nice and very good to work with.As a previous review said, he's busy so don't expect a counselor. BUT, he's the best hip guy in the Midwest...well worth the wait. Highly recommend.

Overall not terribly happy with the overall care provided both pre and post op. I had both knees replaced and the follow up by Dr. Larson was very poor, there were a lot of complications and he did not seem (nor did the hospital) to be on top of anything. It was not until I went home after a week in the hospital that my in home health care nurse determined that I had blood clots. In fact it took her only seconds from when she arrived to determine there was a major problem and sent me straight to another hospital! Additionally it takes 6 weeks to get an appointment, and in all of my about a dozen visits to the office I have had to wait fo 45 minute to 1 1/2 hours after my scheduled appointment to see the doctor.
