I’ve been Dr Shaver’s patient over 15 years. I am and have been satisfied with the care I have always received. I met Dr Shaver in an urgent situation and I have been his patient ever since. Today I feel heard and included in the decision process. Good Appointment.

Dr. Shaver is one of the best physicians I have ever had the privilege to be in his care. I had an ulcer he performed the upper endoscopy before surgery and later I had a colonoscopy. He and his staff are exemplary. He truly cares and helps with any questions. He is truly a credit to his field.

Dr. Shaved and his staff are exemplary in my care at the Brookwood Hospital. They answered questions and helped me understand what was going on with me. Dane Weems

This review is for Dr. Shaver only. He spent time I needed with me. He knew the answers, but took extra time reassuring me. After seeing 4 other GI doctors, he listened. The staff on the other hand are clueless or just dont care.

only doctor who has ever called me on a follow up after a procedure. diagnosis was right after three and a half years using drs. in the shoals

Had my 1st colonoscopy today...with Dr Shaver....the office personnel were very prompt...had short wait time for appt....Dr. Shaver spoke to me before procedure as did nsg and anesthesia....asked if I had any questions.....Dr. Shaver also spoke to my husband with explanation of findings after procedure...as did nsg once again for home instruct which included actual photos of procedure...not sure how much better a gastro appt. should be....I had no discomfort during or after the procedure...and with all my anxiety over a first visit, I was very pleased with the services...I will definitely return based on my experience during this visit.

Went to Shaver because his father in law is no longer in practice. I was scheduled for a endo-oscopy. The endo has caused TMJ and I have had to have alot of work done on my teeth since the procedure and 6mnths later I am still having a lot of throat pain and having to see an ENT again to try and find it there was damage done during the procedure. He never spoke to me about what was found in the endo only spoke to my family. Do NOT recommend this doctor. He had no follow up with me after the procedure.

I love Dr. Shaver and Greta! I have been a patient of his for over five years and have recommended him to several of my friends. He honestly cares about his patients as humans and not an insurance payment or a chart. I'm very thankful that I found him when I did.
