Dr. Owen took the time to explain procedure , risks and benefits of surgery. I waited several months to get over shock that I needed heart surgery.. When I went back for second appointment he patiently explained every thing again , I set up the appointment and the surgery went well and I feel 10 years younger with lots of energy. I was back to work in 6 weeks after the operation.

I would definitely recommend this Doctor to anyone. He took care of my husband. He did a Triple Bypass and replaced the Aorta Valve. He was vigilant and run all necessary test ahead of time so he would have no surprises when he got in there. Very thorough. Wonderful bedside manner. He took the time to explain everything, what we could expect before and after the surgery. Thank you so much for the wonderful care Dr. Owens......

Dr. Owen will be replacing my mitral valve. I have only seen him once, but I was impressed!He explained the procedure to my daughter and me. He stayed with us for at least 40 minutes.Showing us the valves on the computer. That was very interesting.I want everything told to me what to expect afterwards and how they will do the surgery. In other words don't have the mentality of men in the 1950's and say "don't tell the little woman it may upset her." We women have come so far, and I am proud of us.
