Dr. Clayton Randall Polowy, MD

I have stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer. I am a retired RN. I have known many physicians in my years as a nurse and without doubt Dr.Polowy is heads and tails above them all! I have talked to his patients, his staff, and associates. Not one has anything derogatory to say about him and we all agree that he is the best! He tells you like it is without terrifying you. He is patient, concerned, and knowledgeable about all of your concerns. All questions and concerns are important to him. He listens patiently to you and if he doesn't have an answer for you he will research it and get back with you. If you want the best he is here. I don't know what I'd do without him. He certainly has gigantic shoes to fill!

worst front office staff ever

One wonderful physician and good office staff.

Dr Polowy is a very caring doctor who takes time with EVERY patient, so sometimes you wait.. Unfortunately it can be frustrating if your not feeling so good. But, for me, worth every bit of the wait.

Dr. Polowy is a nice person. The wait time in his lobby is brutal and unprofessional. His staff is extremely rude and uncaring.

When I walked into this man's office I was scared and confused and desperate to have my symptoms validated and understood. In the 15 months I have been under his care he has provided me with answers, hope, and health. Some days I would cry and get frustrated and others we would laugh, but he always took his time even if he ran behind because of it. Just know if he's not on time to see you it's because someone had 400 questions and he patiently answered them. And he will do the same for you. His patients are his family, and truly, I owe this man and his practice more than a thank you, more than an "I appreciate you", more than words. Truly he is THE BEST oncologist and person in general you could ever hope to find.

The front office is terrible.

If you are seeking a top tier oncologist, you have found him in Dr. Polowy. This Doctor has charisma, compassion and an obvious excellent degree of knowledge in his field. I recommend him highly.

I made an appointment with Dr. Polowy. I walked in and paid my money then I'm told he'll be a couple hours late. Why in the h3ll did I make an appointment? Why didn't they call me? I went to a different doctor who has their act together.
