Dr. Craig Margulies, MD

Dr.Margulies has been treating me for an ongoing problem for a couple of years now, and I have stuck with him because he is an excellent doctor, listens well and is an excellent diagnostician. However, on my most recent visit to him on a weekday, mid-morning, he was repeatedly yawning while listening to my responses to his questions. I found this unusual and atypical, so I am willing to assume there were extenuating circumstances this time, but still.....If this happens again, I may switch doctors.

I had a hysterectomy 2 months ago and was having diarrhea so I made an appointment to see dr. Margulies who had previously done my colonoscopies. I was put in an exam room for 1/2 hour and neither the dr. came in or a nurse to explain why the doctor hadn’t come in. So I took my walker and left.

He is an excellent doctor and diagnostician!

Dr Margullies seems like a great doctor but his office is really unprofessional. The first appointment I had, they were running an hour and a half behind! My second visit was way better and I was seen immediately but they had music playing and it was so loud it was really distracting. I'm wondering if it's so you can't hear other patients' info because the walls are paper thin. I also tried calling 6 times that morning and it always went to voicemail. His break room/ storage room doubles as the vitals check room too.

Once I finally get to see Dr. Marguiles, it's refreshing to listen with his professional diagnosis which I take very seriously. His demeanor is easy going and he's a great listening. He has a good sense of humor once you penetrate his shell.

Excellent doctor! Finally diagnosed and treated a problem that had plagued me for 3 years! I was assigned to Dr. Margulies during en emergent medical problem and have continued to stay with him.
