My relationship with Dr. Harris began in 1982 when I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Since he left practice in Oklahoma City I have found it Impossible to find another physician to care for me like he did. He and his staff were excellent in educating me about diabetes and were instrumental in helping me to accept and embrace the lifestyle choices required to live a healthy life in spite of the fact that my body requires special care. Diabetes does not have to be a death sentence. If I had not been under the care of such a doctor from the beginning of this journey, I can promise you that I would not be as healthy as I am today. I am concerned tho for everyone out there that has not had the type of care I received from the beginning. Their lack of education and care from a great physician is so evident in their overall health. If I had one wish it would be for Dr. Harris to begin private practice again. I would definitely run back to him.
