Dr. Daniel Enrique Chervony, MD

I didn’t realize I was out of Klonopin BENZO and Xanax wasn’t working. I called him on Saturday. I told him I was having tremors by not having my BENZO. He told me I have to wait till Monday because nothing he could do. Tremors got worse and called him Sunday pleading for my BENZO. Again, he said it’ll have to wait till Monday. Called office on Monday many times and still no prescription. I called on Tuesday numerous times and no prescription. I got a phone call at 6 o’clock that night and first thing he said was to get a new Psychiatrist because I stressed him out and said the staff never told him. Then he was mad I called 12 times. so he lied. I told him I’ve still been suffering. Told me I have to wait till tomorrow. Finally late afternoon Wednesday, he called it in. I saw he had a major lawsuit from a patient. He lives in Boca and his office is in Tamarac. That’s why this whole time he didn’t want to go to his office.

He is rude, condescending, and truly incompetent. He can't diagnose people correctly and then he gets rude with you for questioning him. The people who say he is good must be getting paid to write reviews. He has been sued for malpractice and should be again. He destroyed my life with medication I didn't need and then had the audacity to blame me. Office hag Norma is an idiot.

I've been seeing dr. Chervony for 19 years. He has never steered me wrong. He is encouraging, caring, kind, ethical, intelligent and humble. In 19 years there has never been a phone call not returned, an urgent appointment unavailable, or a deaf ear. When I've had side effects or issues with meds theyve need addressed immediately and appropriate. I'm a nurse. Several of these reviews make no sense, especially medicinally induced alzheimers and parkinsons... those are organic conditions. If you truly want help, will be 100% compliant, then dr. Chervony is a great choice. If you wanna be around, go somewhere else.

I started seeing Dr. Chervony years ago. I moved out of the area and still drive up there to see him. I was struggling with burnout working as a therapist in substance abuse and writing my dissertation. Dr. Chervony worked with me instead of against me. He was respectful and listened to my input since I am very familiar with mental health. When I experienced insomnia at the beginning of my medication regimen, Dr. Chervony suggested I take the medications as early as possible in the morning instead of putting me on more meds. Apparently I have ADHD and I requested non narcotics (majority of family members struggle with addiction) and Dr. Chervony prescribed me Vyvanse since it is less habit forming. I was experiencing a lot of stress and was diagnosed with high blood pressure by my physician and I inquired if Dr. Chervony thought I have high anxiety. He prescribed me Buspar and it has been a godsend!! I know everyone has their own experience but when you work with a lot of… psychiatrists, you will notice they are not softies and are not therapists. They are experts with diagnosing mental disorders and medication regimens.

He is kind, caring and is a great diagnostician. He listens and looks out for the best of the patient! I have been his patient for years and he always takes my calls and makes judgments that benefit my wellbeing!

My first appointment was with the Nurse Practitioner, which I was told ahead of time. She was great. Made me feel comfortable and took her time to understand me. I'm very happy to have found this nice, quiet, professional office!

I really question if he does have the schooling and the knowledge to deal with psychiatric patients the few times I saw him he made the mistake of taking me off my medications that I have it on for 20 years and leaving me with nothing when ahead with drawls and went back in to see him he literally laughed it off this man is not confident he’s not competent to be a doctor and he is not competent to be a moral human being he caused me so much pain by his actions suicide attempts doctors visits and this was supposed to be a man that helped me through my rough patch I pray that people read all of these reviews and do not go to see this man

He put me on Abilify and it made me almost suicidal and wanted to die every day I was on it. It also made me very restless and I couldn't stop moving. It took after about 2 weeks to say oh, so stop taking the medication after saying just take half of it. He called me a drama queen and I stormed out of the office and told his waiting patients he's a "terrible" doctor. Also told me I was looking fat.

Very kind, caring, smart and he always does what is best for his patients. I highly recommend him.

Dr Chervony is one of the worst physician I have met. Unwilling to listen, he is condescending, abrupt and he has no bedside manner.
