Daniel Hakimi, DO

Dr. Hakimi is our leading physician and medical director of Ob-Gyn Infertility Services of Northern New Jersey. He completed his medical training at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998, and in 2002, he completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale New Haven and Bridgeport Hospitals. In 2004, Dr. Hakimi received his board certification in obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Hakimi is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Hakimi discovered his interest in performing surgeries during his ob-gyn residency years, seeking out and completing additional surgical training, and making him particularly skilled in gynecologic surgery. Since 2013, Dr. Hakimi has been a Da Vinci-trained and certified robotic surgeon. He does early-stage gynecological cancer surgeries.

Dr. Hakimi’s superior clinical and surgical skills have helped him manage hundreds and hundreds of both …low- and high-risk pregnancies. He is proud of his exceptionally low cesarean-section rate. His patients who have had a previous cesarean delivery regularly deliver vaginally in subsequent pregnancies (VBAC).
