He responded very quickly to my need for surgery on a meningioma. I have never had better physician caring. I think his sense of humor is really to put patients at ease, as underneath it all he is a pretty serious guy!

Dr Hood confirmed for me that I do not have Parkinson's...offered me a med for my essential tremors. I have had only one visit. His PA checked me first...she was very good as well...everyone in the office was caring, helpful.

Learned nothing from this visit and had waited 6 weeks for the appointment. He came in, sat down on the exam table and smirked at every question or comment. We came away not knowing what he was trying to say.

I have never met a more insecure, incompetent Doctor. I have never been so disgusted with any doctor as i have with Daniel C. HOOD. He will undermine, dismiss, and treat you like garbage. I HIGHLY advice you to get a different neurologist.

I was a Parkinson's patient of Dr. Hood's for two years. He confirmed my PP's diagnosis. I found him to be compassionate, patient as well as knowledgeable. His easy going manner put me at ease and I was amazed at the time he took to listen and ask me questions. Dr. Hood has a fun sense of humor. He did a great job of figuring out the right combination of medications that work for me-- and I did not respond well at first to the introduction of medication. The folks at the University of Michigan Movement Disorders Clinic agreed that I am well managed and wouldn't change anything Dr. Hood and I are doing. Dr. Hood even has a small library at the office and gave me books to read. Going for appointments there was a better experience than any other medical appointment I have had--anywhere. It will be difficult to find another doctor in my new location in Texas who can really take his place.

He was okay. Was suppose to give me the results right after test and he just walked out. I felt he was too busy to give me that little bit.
