Dr. Dany Ali Obeid, MD

The Doctor is very good & Knowledgeable- His Staff is TERRIBLE. Event: We went back to office to get a script, as the office staff had not requested the Dr. ordered test with Humana for 9 Days. They couldn't find our file and my husband became irritated and kept saying "lets get the script and leave." After still not getting script, we left office and went to the elevator and a office staff member, (identified later as the office Manager), followed us to the elevator and began chastising us and stated she did not appreciate our comments. I was shocked and stated all we wanted was the script to make an appointment. The office manager, became loud and aggressive and she threatened us and said "She would take care of us." She kept threatening and said "She would take care of us." We were shocked and went back to office to speak with the Doctor and was again told to leave as we were being disruptive and she had already spoken with the Doctor. We have today received a certified letter… ending our relationship with Dr. Obeid due to this verdictive, offensive and belligerent office manager. We are seniors that have never suffered the vile insults from a "supposed medical professional." Interesting it all started when she was confronted with the poor follow-up of staff not following through with test scheduling. She even attempted to blame a "recent turn-over" in staff for issues. Doesn't matter. Just an excuse. Yes, we were loud when we went back as the office manager had threatened us and she would not let us see the Doctor. Unfortunately, Dr. Obeid gets bad rating over actions of his staff. HOWEVER, since he signed the termination of relationship letter, without knowledge of what actually occurred or talking to us to for other side of story, shame on him.

I have been a patient for over 15 years but I have had extreme difficulty making contact with his office to reschedule an appointment. They will put you on hold and then never pick up nor do they return calls after you leave a message. I had this problem a couple of years ago also. I have even gone to the office to pick up a refill prescription because their office never returned calls. I am now looking for a new pulmonologist!

Cannot get anyone to call me back Have left several messages including leaving one with a receptionist. Never received results from my chest ex ray and can’t get them to refil my prescription inwhich CVS is having trouble in reaching them as well. Did they leave town?

my husband is a patient. we have had a very hard time getting through to the office. you have to leave a message; many times the message is not returned. now when i call, it rings once and hangs up.....not very happy!

Had a sleep study done and was prescribed a CPAC machine. When the paperwork was sent to the service provider they said the sleep study needed to be redone. It was nearly impossible to get the office to reschedule the test. Would not recommend them. Dr. is wonderful staff behind him awful.

Doctor Obeid is excellent. I highly recommend him. My contact with his staff has been excellent as well.

I can sum it up in one word “Terrific“ This Doctor knows what he doing.

Dr Obied is fine been going to him for years but the staff is the worst. No one ever calls you back, they never answer the phone, been waiting for them to return forms forever compared

Dr is ok and though ..... staff is probably the worst i have ever encountered in the medical field....
