I didn't meet him until minutes before my surgery. My first post op 1 week appointment I wasn't even in there five minutes he kept talking super fast talking over me and I was more confused when I left then I went in there and I had ended up severely dehydrated a few weeks later I ended up being in the hospital they had to give me 3 bags of IV fluid which actually I've been in the hospital twice for I've had really bad Aftercare and it's very frustrating when you go in there and he wants to talk about something else that's not relative to the concern that you have and when you are talking he keeps talking over you so by the time you leave nothing is resolved. Just like we can't take Ibuprofen after surgery and I suffer from severe migraines and I was trying to see what else I could take because Tylenol doesn't work and I don't want her Cottage and he told me that that wasn't his line of work that I needed to talk to my primary which he should be the one telling me what medications I… can and can't take just like I have had such severe weight loss so fast my hips and back are bothering me really bad and once again he tells me that there was nothing he could do about it he doesn't refer me to anyone so I end up having just to go to the chiropractor to see if I could get an alignment

I've lost close to 100 lbs, and have been pretty happy with the results. You must watch what you eat, and SLOW down, or you will throw up! Your body changes over the years (mine was done in 2008), so adjustments are necessary (fluid out), then have it put back in slowly to where you're not throwing up, but not able to over eat either. It's a learning process, and for me was worth every penny! :)

Great experience all around. Entire staff was knowledgable and helpful. I am 5 days post op and am doing great. Thank you Dr. Soong. I am looking forward to a long healthy life!

Dr. Soong has excellent bedside manners. He listens to you and explains in detail everything you need to know about weight loss surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Soong and his staff.
