David R. Bonney, DO

I've been using Dr. Bonney as my dermatologist in Paramus for a few years now and he's a great doctor. Friendly, knowledgeable, and always takes time to explain things to me, what more can you ask?

Dr. Bonney is a great dr. and a gentleman with excellent bedside manner. For dermatology you have every reason to consult with this physician.

I usually see another Dr. at this group but she wasn't available. From now on though, I'll request Dr. Bonney. He was knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. He explained everything carefully and offered me a few alternative medical treatments. I have already recommended him to friends and family. The staff were also nice and the wait time was less than 10 minutes.

Dr. Bonney and his assistant were both professional, thorough, and kind. They made me feel comfortable and confident in their knowledge and treatment of my Psoriasis. I left the office knowing I am in great hands. The wait time was average for a first visit and some patients may go in before others because they are there for a treatment that does not require the doctors attention.

Seriously awful experience. He spent a whole of 5 minutes looking at my daughter . Never once looked at me in the eye while speaking to me - the entire time was itching to leave the room and not answer any questions - almost like he caught some type of rash from his last patient . When I asked him about a specific drug I'd read aboutâ?¦.he whipped out a brochure and told me to read up on it on my own . I swear if I googled "acne" online I would have gotten a more comprehensive answer. I felt none of my concerns were addressed and the entire time I was frustrated knowing he could care less - if he hates to deal with patients so much why did he become a doctor in the first place!? The Dermatology Center is basically the McDonalds of dermatology offices. Fast, cheap and your skin feels oily when you leave .

Dr. Bonney is awesome. He is very personable and the office runs smoothly. The wait was minimal. As for the visit, the dr. is very thorough and never seems rushed. He explains everything clearly and really seems confident in what he is doing. I give him a top review.

I get it. The waiting time at The Dermatology Group for NEW PATIENTS is a long one, one in which can last up to an hour. But the wait is worth it, especially if your doctor is David Bonney. I've never had such a doctor for both my mother and I that was so calming, clear, and helpful and I'm honestly happy that he's my dermatologist. Not only that, but the staff there are always helpful, patient, and polite. I highly recommend going to The Dermatology Group, but I will forewarn that there will be a long wait for new patients, and understandably because this place is truly great.

I specifically called and asked for a Pediatric Dermatologist appointment for my 5 year old. The secretary got me an appointment with Dr Bonney for an afternoon visit. After taking a half day at work, and trekking from upstate to New Jersey, we waited over an hour to be seen. We were then rushed into a room, asked a few questions by his assistant, and then got to spend a total of 5 minutes with the Dr himself who then advised us we needed to see a Pediatric Dermatologist. I thought thats who we made an appointment with. He then, nonchalantley told me that he sees kids but isnt a children specific Dr. So why waste my time? The people making the appt need to be more clear, and the Dr needs to at least make believe he gives a rats you know what about his patient. I dont know why I even gave this place 1 star....thats being generous

Overall experience was horrible Front desk receptionist called patients using last name which is not correct in this day of identity theft...waited one plus hours to be seen...while be examined by doctor he answered his cell phone..so much for beside manner...prescription was to be sent by computer to pharmacy and never arrived to the pharmacy...overall rating ZERO !!!!
