Dr. David James Congdon, MD

CNA, Megan; informed she was a nurse. When I asked her title, she reluctantly admitted she wasn’t a nurse but informed that she was working on one and could give injections and do everything a nurse could do. Made me feel very reluctant

Unfortunately I agree with all the negative comments about this doctor. A common thread is usage of the words: Rude, arrogant, dismissive, and impatient. Those are all accurate. I had botox treatment with Congdon and he assured me that the injections he gave would be high enough above the eyebrow not to cause droopy eyelids. He failed to do so and I will never do business with him again.

Dr. Congdon is extremely impatient, rude, and inconsiderate! Reading these reviews, they sum up exactly what I experienced. I don't recall him acting like this years ago when my kids had their tonsils out. I'll drive miles to see anyone else. Why does he think he can be an allergy doctor now too? Went for a consult and he talked about allergy shots and surgery for my nose. He would not allow me to speak and was condescending. I will never go there again.

Dr. Congdon did a relatively new minimally invasive procedure called Vivaer. It kept me out of the OR and being put out which I really appreciated. It uses low energy radio frequency heating to reshape the nose cartilage so I could breathe better. I like his straight to the point approach. He is very good at what he does.

Dr Congdon has performed 4 surgeries on me and all went very well, however he has no patience or time to discuss any concerns. He makes it clear that he believes himself to be much better and smarter than all of we lowly patients. My last visit I explained symptoms I was having and was promptly dismissed and told I had a cold. At my age I know the difference between a cold and something more. I left his office and had to pay another copays for an urgent care visit to get the treatment I needed for Bronchitus. This doctor should not be allowed to speak with patients and should stick to the surgeries. If he would treat his staff better and let them answer questions, we would be much better off.

Dr. Congdon gave up to date options with one being with no surgical incisions which was very appealing. I like someone that gets right to the point saving us both time.

One of the most pleasant doctor visits I have had in the last 25 years

I had a facelift and blephariplasty done in 2005. Now, in 2019, I’m 78 People who don’t know my age are still surprised to find out, even these many years later. At the time, I told Dr. Congdon that I had no desire to look 20 years younger; I just wanted a better version of me. I think he succeeded and did an excellent job!

I typically don't write bad reviews but in this case, it's warranted. Dr Congdon is one of the rudest, most condescending human beings I have ever encountered. Laughed at us in a condescending manner when we asked questions, and treated us like we didn't matter AND, he had no idea what the issue was. He ordered a lot of tests which I would have been happy to undergo, had he not been so awful in my initial consultation. Instead, I contacted my primary physician and asked to be referred to someone else and she happily complied. I had a diagnosis at my first consultation, didn't need to undergo lots of additional tests and I was treated like a human being. If you want a good ENT - go see Dr. Hart. If you want a good plastic surgeon, go see Dr Mark Barnard. Both are EXCELLENT physicians/surgeons and human beings. Dr Congdon...not so much.

I saw Dr. Congdon twice. He may be Mayo trained, but he is one of the most arrogant people on earth. I went to Mayo directly rather than deal with this guy again. Dr. Joseph Hart (same building) & Dr. Mark Barnard (Wheaton Franciscan/Covenant) have just as good if not better, credentials, and they are nice, ethical people. I don't know any of them personally, I just wanted to give my honest review. Good luck--praying for all of you, esp. if you see Dr. Condor!
