Dr. David Louis Galiani, DO

I was a first time patient referred by the ER for follow up care of a cornea injury. To say I have never meet a more unprofessional front desk staff than at this practice is an understatement. Specifically, Terri who I was told was from billing, came out of the gate with a full on attitude all because she wasn’t familiar with my insurance and then refused to verify and to run it, she insisted they didn’t take it, I pulled it up to prove to her it was listed and in network. She then became irate and yelled at me in front of a jam packed over booked waiting room of elderly folks, that if I wanted to be seen I would have to self pay first. I tried again to show her proof that they took my insurance, she yelled at me more, refused to listen and literally slammed the window in my face. I was stunned as I walked out of the practice. I’m a firm believer that your front desk is a direct reflection of the doctor so needless to say I likely dodged a bullet here by not having this doctor care for… my injury.

?????????? I had 2 cataract surgeries (having 2 eyes ?? ) in the past month. Dr Galiani was extremely personable and since I can now see properly to write this, extremely talented. I had my surgery within 1 month of my visit which was impressive since I visited another Dr and was scheduled for surgery 4 months out. Ridiculous!!! Dr Galiani was a delightful Dr and answered ALL of my questions and even called me the night of my surgery to make sure all was well (even though he scheduled me to see him first thing the next morning. My husband will need the Dr’s expertise soon, and even though he’s further from us than the other Dr we will go to Dr Galiani. Thank You Dr Galiani for giving me back the gift of GREAT EYESIGHT. Here I thought I had 4 grandchildren, I actually had 5 (??????)

After using another large well known Ophthalmologist both my wife and I changed to Dr. Galiani. He has helped us both with improved vision.

I have used this dr a few times I liked him but was was never impressed by the staff or other drs, but they are convienant to my work. I scheduled my daughter and husband for eye exams and it took a month and a half to get them in. The day of I get a call my daughters is cancelled. My husband goes in and they said they cancelled his too and can;t squeeze him in. Then they tell him since they are new patients they have over a month wait! We already waited a month! So not only did they cancel last minute they wanted us to wait all over again even knowing my duaghter needed an appointment asap since she broke her glasses and needed a new script to get new ones. They were so rude and uncaring and didn;'t try and apologize for the cancelation or make it right. We won't be returning!

I would highly recommend this office for all your eye care needs. My wife and I have separate major issues with our eyes and Dr. Galiani is able to treat us both. His expertise is more than just a general ophthalmologist. You may wait a few weeks for an appointment but I'd rather wait for quality care. Although I have had instances where I've had an emergency or so I thought and they accomodated me into their busy schedule. The doctor and the staff never made me feel like my "emergency" wasn't a true emergency. He has the same technicians and assistant every time I go and they are all very knowledgeable. His assistant knows what he wants before even asking and that shows a good working relationship which also means less room for error. There are times where I've waited in the waiting room or in the exam room for him but he's a popular doctorand spends time with his patients. His front staff is warm and welcoming, and his clinical team and assistant in the exam room are very… professional , knowledgeable, friendly and more than willing to explain me my diagnosis, my care plan and what is expected of me. I always had a follow-up call from his assistant checking on me when I was seen in the office as an emergency. I did have an insurance issue but that was the insurance company telling me I was eligible for a certain exam when I was not. I urge patients to contact their insurance companies themselves to find out exactly what is covered. The staff is too busy providing quality care and they cannot possibly know each patient's insurance plan and what is covered it is . I also did have experience with scheduling cataract surgery this was smooth planned well and completed within two short trips to the office. Galiani ophthalmology will always be my "eye" healthcare provider. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Gallani did my cateract surgery. It was done at the Wellness Surgery center where I was given excellent care and attention. Dr. G. did a terrific job. My recovery has been very fast and I am very pleased with the results. He is a caring doctor, he explains what the procedure will be and makes you feel safe. He also has a good sense of humor which I feel is important as it helps relax you asa patient. I would recommend him as an excellent doctor.
