To make this story short, I had surgery done by doctor King, following surgery my pain did not get better and he did not take my concerns seriously, I didn't feel respected by him, he made me feel like my pain was either my fault or not valid. So after 3 years of pain I got a second opinion and this doctor ended up having to re-do the surgery in addition to addressing issues that dr king had missed completely. I understand that this can happen, especially with MRIs not being completely accurate, but that is not an excuse for him not treating me with respect nor not taking my concerns seriously.

Dr King did my hip replacement and it was an incredible experience. The decrease in pain was astounding and I was very grateful for the relief. The home nursing care was also a continued reflection of the outstanding recovery care received by Dr King and his staff. I recommend this medical office because my experience was wonderful from the beginning to the end of my care.

The wait time is about 45 minutes. The physician's don't communicate well, as one treated me like a new patient after I had been a patient for a year. It's been a year and a half since my hip pain began, which (I believe) induced piriformis syndrome, that then resulted in pain similar to that of sciatica. Dr. King met with me for 15 minutes during our first meeting. He prescribed physical therapy, which did help my pain for a few months. However, the pain worsened and more severe symptoms began after about eight months. After I could barely sleep, walk, and function due to pain levels, Dr. King simply said that this pain wasn't due to a hip problem. I waited 45 minutes for the hip specialist to spend three minutes telling me that my hip pain wasn't a hip problem, where he then referred me to a back specialist. Now, eight months further down the line; 2 MRIs, 4 X-Rays, 3 steroid packs, 1 EMG, 1 epidural injection, and months of constant, chronic pain later, the back specialist… agreed that I, indeed, have a hip problem. I thought doctors were supposed to help people. Dr. King has shown me otherwise.

After having both labral repairs in both hips, he failed to fix my bony impingement and shaved the wrong area of the bone which made my hip condition worse. Not only did it make it worse, but the area he shaved put me at a higher risk for femur fracture. Only a month after being released from therapy I retore both labrums in my hips to which he denied anything being wrong in my hips and said the pain was in my head. Saw another doctor who immediately asked after looking and my imaging why my original doctor never fixed my bony impingements and that I infact did have labral tears in both hips. I ended up having to have two more hip surgeries to fix HIS surgical errors (total of four hip surgeries by the age of 21) all because he didn’t bother to take the time to do it correctly the first time. Dr. King was incompetent and Blatantly ignored my obvious bone impingements and was rude and arrogant saying that nothing was wrong and I was making it up. I would never recommend him to anyone… especially someone with hip issues as I have been dealing with hip surgery and recovery for the past three years and I am just now recovering from my final surgery (by the way I have no pain at all post op from my new doctor). He was a waste of my time and money.

I was diagnosed with a labral tear in my hip. After surgery and therapy I am not doing great. He is very compassionate and did listen to my concerns before and after surgery. He and his staff are great. I have already recommended him to friends and family.
