Dr. David Charles Semler, MD

He is a very nice and approachable physician who takes his time with you and really cares. He is very thorough and this provides a lot of comfort and ease with him as well.

Office staff are on a power trip, it's impossible to get seen quickly or get a call back for an unrgent condition. Dr Semler is okay, he has said some inappropriate things to me , in my opinion. To quote him during my last visit when I was having a reaction to a shot they gave me, "I'm not saying your stupid but..." Really? That's the way you talk to patients? I will not be returning becuase the office staff will not let me see Dr. Mohney now that I'm uncomfortable going back to "Dr. I can talk down to you"Disgusting, office staff are more concerned with following suggested procedure than caring about the well being of a patient.

I think that Dr. Semler is great! My first appt for consult took 2 months, I was told this was the normal waiting period by all friends/coworkers who recommended me to him as they had same wait to see him. After this I have had no trouble getting in for appts. as scheduled. For my consult, I was appt I was in within 5 minutes and then out. He took time to visit and chat, answers all my questions and he made sure that I was comfortable with the diagnosis. He and his staff are great. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They do have crazy payment w/insurance though. . . must be the economic times. Can't blame them for that!Overall I would recommend this office to EVERYONE. If you live in the Kalamazoo area I would choose him as as the Dr to see.

I called to make an appointment for something that should be seen quickly due to discomfort.. and was told 3 months... REALLY?! I end up going to my PCP to be treated now instead. Who wants a rash for 3 months before it gets treated?
