Dr Shibata is truly the best. He is confident is his area of expertise. He has incredible bed side manner. His team is excellent. Cancer is very hard physically and emotionally Shibata and his team have walked me through each step of my journey. They have taken the time to meet and discuss every aspect of my process. We need more Doctors like Shibata!

in 2005 i was admitted to Moffit Cancer center in Tampa FL, the surgery was performed by DR. Shibata, when i woke up after the surgery i was told that i had given birth to a 34 pound tumor. Dr Shibata called me his miracle patient, he saved my life, he is my HERO

Dr Shibata found that I had a very complicated tumor. A very rare tumor in colon. He saved my life!!! I will always trust his decisions in my health care. Thank you Dr Shibata.

Dr Shibata has been my surgeon fr many years, from his days in Boston, to Moffitt Cancer Center. I have traveled across the country to have him perform cancer surgeries over the years and highly recommend him to anyone that needs an excellent surgeon for a complex case. He has amazing bedside manner, is a wonderful person to talk to about complex cases as he breaks everything down for patients to understand easily. He is greatly missed since he has gone to TN.
