"DO NOT GO TO..." Dr. Trask made it right, but I can't remove this review.

DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC unless you can afford to cover all expenses out of pocket. Dr. Trask comes highly recommended in our region, but his billing and office customer support are so bad it almost feels like embezzlement. I've gone to Dr. Trask's office for my annual skin screening the past two years, and both times they made egregious billing errors. The first time I went to lengths to ask the billing office if Krista Smith was covered by my insurance before I booked an appointment - - turns out she wasn't and the billing office hassled me for nearly a year trying to make me pay for their mistake. Thanks to finally resolving it, I tried again this year. Again, I spent several days asking before the appointment and even during the appointment, would this be covered as laboratory diagnostic, a regular check up? I made clear that I would not have consented to treatment otherwise, to both Dr. Trask and his office workers. They said yes. Oh wait, it wasn't! Again, they want me to pay for… their errors. I asked my health insurance to provide the codes that would be correct and Dr. Trask's billing workers wouldn't use them! I asked to speak to Dr. Trask directly or have his direct email to clarify our interactions during the appointment, no dice. I'm waiting to hear back from the grievance and appeal I wrote to my insurance (Providence) and I have filed a better business complaint. Meanwhile Dr. Trask's office refuses to adjust a penny of their mistake and have threatened to use bill collection. Again, DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC unless you can afford to cover all expenses out of pocket and don't be swayed by the inept and belligerent office manager's behavior - - this office's M.O. is to wear you down until you pay for their mistakes.

Dr Trask is great. It takes a long time to get an appointment with him. Plan for a least a two month wait if non emergency. But, it is worth it.
