Dr. David Brian Yablonsky, DO

After an accident left me in a wheelchair, David Yablonsky and his staff claimed I was purposely misleading them and stated my other specialists were wrong and lying. While never saying it to my face, they charted incorrect and damaging notes in my charts. After I confronted them about misleading and incorrect charting, i was told to find another doctor if i disagreed with them. I have, and since leaving his practice, I received the medical care I needed, care that his office refused due to ego and bias, and it was found my neurological issues were from a hematoma in my spine. If you look on the page, you'll find multiple other people also recounting their experiences of neglect with this doctor. Unless you want yourself or your loved ones neglected, I recommend finding another office.

I can’t really review Dr Yablonsky because all I ever see anymore are his PA’s. Haven’t seen him for more that 2 years. This isn’t the reason for the post though. I have the opportunity to get either the J and J or the Pfizer covid vaccine in a couple of days so I thought I’d check with my medical professional as to which one I should get. Doing a little research I’d say. Well, when I did call I was told that I should get on the internet and research what’s out there and they wouldn’t recommend one over the other. Not exactly the kind of help I would have expected from my primary provider.

I had a wonderful experience today with Dr. Yablonsky! I was called in less than 5 minutes of my arrival and was given a thorough exam and sent with orders for tests. I was completely satisfied with my visit and with his competent staff - Thank You!!

My very aged, but still very aware, mother has been a patient of Dr. Y since he first opened his practice in Maryville/Glen Carbon. I was sitting in waiting room with my mother to be seen, when he walked from one door to the next and then up to the front desk to chat with staff for several minutes. I said to my mother who is hard of hearing, "isn't that your doctor?" He was less than 10 feet away from us and did not even turn around and smile. Isn't it bad enough he uses NP's to do all his work, but does not even acknowledge the hands that feed him in his waiting room. How does he remain in business with an unprofessional personality like that is beyond me? We have been thinking about changing to another physician, however, we have stayed with him because of her age. The NP's are very professional, clinical and attentive. However, seeing the actual physician once in a while or to have him stick his head in and say, how are you doing? Means so much to these elderly patients. … After this occurrence and the feeling it gave me to see him walk right past her, as she waited for him to recognize her, made me feel sick and just plain sad for her. Perhaps, he needs to take notice of his patients before he loses them. Believe me, I am looking for another one, as we speak.

I visited Dr. Yablonsky recently and was seen on time and was treated very professionally! All my issues were addressed to my satisfaction. Very pleasant visit!!

I have chosen to see the Nurse Practitioner in David Yablonsky 's office. Heard bad reviews but only doctor to take my insurance at that time. My last visit David was watching his son play on the workout equipment while my visit went from a $50 self pay to $185 to see a nurse Practitioner. He makes his patients come in every 6 month's to get prescription refills whether they are sick or not. Every time it was a different person. Always a different excuse on why the left the practice. Simon was the only person I would give 5 stars to, but he was only there for approximately 6 months.

I've had 10 surgeries, high bp, migraines, 6 of the surgeries were orthopedic and 3 replacement. Only thing help received was bp. I'm in chronic pain and nick will only prescribe Tramadol which doesn't help much if at all. Left apt yesterday and had to go to urgent care. Nick was confrontational trying his best to start an argument.all that was needed was a script for a painkiller. They have pain management and PT THERE WHICH I REQUEST and was refused. Nick needs disciplinary action. I've been on disability for these problems and went for help. I wldnt send my dog's worst enemy there.

I went to his old office location in Maryville this morning for my 7:30 appointment. After I parked and walked to the second floor, I discovered his office was no longer there, I left a message with his staff that I was driving to his Edwardsville location (after I found out where it was). I arrived at his Edwardsville office less than 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Pretty good time considering that I had to drive an extra 10 miles, park and walk to the second floor. I was told that in that 20 minutes it took me to get to the right location, my allotted time had vanished and I would have to reschedule. That was rude and unnecessary, especially knowing that I had been on the road 40 minutes in total and made the drives (plural) in good faith. My husband wasn't happy with the way he was treated a couple months earlier but I kinda sloughed it off. Now, however, we've definitely decided to find another internist. I would not recommend Dr. Yablonsky to anyone.

Physicians Assistant Simon in Edwardsville, IL office was easy to talk to, courteous, thorough, helpful with my issues, great bed side manner. Jennifer G. at same office was friendly, understanding of my issues, made appointment in a timely manner, called in my prescriptions to my local drug store immediately, called back with results in a timely manner. Melissa at the Maryville,IL office was helpful and understanding of my appointment needs. Good doctors offices to go to.
