Dawn V Herzig, DO

Dr. Herzig has been highly professional and kind during my time as her patient, she met with me several times and determined the best route of treatment for me. In my case, that was ultimately determined to be surgery. The surgery was successful and the follow-up care has been exceptional. She was also great with my family when they met at the surgical center. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Herzig was not quick to mention surgery, rather she took a wait & see approach to see if my issue could resolve itself. Six months later, my issue hasn't healed on its own & she left the choice to me as to whether we'd proceed w/surgery or wait some more. I'd be remiss to not mention her outstanding staff!

Dr. Herzig spent about 15-20 minutes with us for our appointment and her bedside manner was wonderful and all questions were answered. However, my son needed drops to dilate and we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for her to return to my son. When we asked the assistant when she would be in to complete appointment, she was NOT polite with her answer. We were in the office for 2 hours and 15 minutes. We will not be returning.

my 20 month old has been diagnosed by her with an eye disease, she is very thorough and caring, we are blessed to have her in the Pittsburgh area.
