Dr. Dean Paul Boorujy, DO

Spent time with me and has a great bedside manner.

I tried Dr. Boorujy and found his medical judgment to be okay, but getting to it was difficult. First, I had my initial visit, waited an hour to get into an exam room to wait even longer. I thought maybe it was just a bad day and gave him another few chances. All but one time, I waited for approximately 1 hour before getting in to the exam room. That seemed unreasonably long to me, and certainly was more the norm than the exception. Second, I went one day for a simple check for a sore throat one day. After waiting an hour, he referred me to the outpatient services of a hospital to get a strep test. That took several more hours of my day, and seemed a bit ridiculous to me. No minor services, such as quick strep tests are offered on site. I decided that day to get a new doctor.Lastly, I did not love his bedside manner - I felt like his advice was sound, but that he spoke to me like I was stupid. I could have done without that. I have switched to a new doctor and have no… complaints in any direction about my new physician.Best of luck to those in search of a primary care physician.
