Dr. Deborah Lynn Neiman, MD

Been a patient of this office for the past 9 yrs and the office staff are very uncaring. In fact they try to make it seem like you are the whacky one. Example... Rx need to be refilled and it takes 5+ phone call to get this simple task accomplished. Pathetic excuse for a primary doctors office who touts themselves as being patient centric.

Doesn’t care about patients only about how many people they can get booked. You have a patient in your office and your PA doesn’t know what the issue is.... a doctor should be avail to evaluate. Receptionist shouldn’t be answering medical questions...

I went in looking for a new PCP (one that was more modern/electronic) and was pleased with the ease of scheduling the appointment and the fact that bloodwork was done on site. While with the medical assistant, I was happy with how thorough they were being given my medical history since no other previous doctors had done that. Meeting Dr. Neiman herself though, was a nightmare. I felt rushed when I was explaining my concerns regarding my depression and anxiety. I had inquired about medical marijuana for anxiety and she point blank said "if they're gonna allow it for anxiety they should just legalize it all around because everyone would have it" which made me feel extremely invalidated as a patient, especially since she was generalizing my experience and diagnosis (which I've had on record for 5+ years) to that of the general public. When I said ok well I'm still not feeling like myself and have no motivation all she said (while on her way out of the door) was then your dose is too high… I'll lower it. After leaving the room, she LOUDLY complained about me to her staff which I could clearly hear. She never sent over the prescription and I was out of my medication. I called the office to be told a message would be sent to the doctor, a day passed, still nothing. I called again and said this is very important as I'm out of medication and I had already called and was told they would send another message. STILL NOTHING. At this point, I had to call when it was after hours and the answering service had to get the doctor herself on the phone who was full of attitude asking if I had called the office already to which I told her yes, twice. After this visit, I made an appointment with a different doctor since she clearly was not the right doctor for me and the new doctor was shocked she lowered my dose and after meeting with him a few times already has almost tripled what she wanted to give me. Prior to my first appointment with the doctor, I was terrified because of the experience I had with Dr. Neiman. She made me feel like my symptoms were not real and I was making everything up. I will not be going back to her office ever again.

You do tend to wait long time from when your appointment is till you see MD. that is why I tend to make my appointment either the 1st in the morning or late in afternoon. I don't mind waiting, becasue I know when she is with me. She is giving me 100% of her foucs and time. She never ever makes me feel rushed. She is extremly caring and compasionate, very honest with you. Excellent!!

Dr. Neiman is cold, unempathetic, and lazy. The office is unwilling to do the necessary things like calling a pharmacy or pre-authorizing drugs and tests. I was told she has hundreds of patients and couldn't be bothered with calling for medications that need pre-approval. She doesn't smile or look directly at the patient , nor does she try to connect verbally. She isn't a good listener, not seeming interested in hearing my feelings. I suppose she is knowledgeable, but I will never step foot in her office again. That said, I did have a visit with her nurse practitioner, Nancy O'Conner who is warm, caring, and knowledgable.

I've been a patient of Dr . Neimans for about 15 years . She always takes time listen to my concerns and has been accurate with diagnosis. She's been wonderful about having a member of her staff call to see how I was doing after I was diagnosed with pnuemonia. I've never had a problem refilling meds or receiving a call back when it was necessary. I would highly recommend Dt. Neiman.

Very unproffessional; Doctor has a very poor attitude and more concerned about being inconvenieced than the patient's needs; Pharmacy calls for refills are not promptly returned....days may go by and then you have to intercept to make it happen. Will be seeking a new doctor!

After several years going to this practice I am leaving to go elsewhere. They do not call to follow up on lab work. I could say more, but I will leave it at that. Extremely disappointed.
