Dr. Derlis Martino

Dr Martino did my husbands 2nd heart valve surgery and did a wonderful job. He was very professional and explained how he would do the surgery with knowing all the specific's of my husbands issues. He was able to do a small incision about 4" long under the arm. Since my husband did not have any blockage at that time this was a less invasive procedure. The recovery was so much easier than the chest incision. His nurse right hand was a pleasant young lady who was very helpful. He is a very busy man as his practice is growing quickly. My husbands cardiologist was very adamant about using Dr. Martino and he has never lead us wrong.

After hearing from my Primary Care Phy, and the Cardiologist, that it appeared I would need a CB and Mitral valve operation, I was a little anxious when I met Dr. Martino. After we met, I, and my family, felt extremely comfortable with him. All of our questions were answered succintly, but in a friendly mode. My family stated that after my procedure, Dr. Martino met with them and assured them that all went well. They felt he had stayed with them as long as was necessary to alleviate any of their fears as to my condition. His Nurse and office staff are top-notch and I didn't have to wait an extraordinary amount of time for my follow-up check.I, and the people of LR, are blessed to have such an excellent surgeon practicing here.
