Dr. Dev Mangalat, MD

I had a great experience with Dr. Mangalat this morning. I found him to be a good listener, very professional in manner and conservative in his approach and thorough. His office staff was very efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend them!

Very professional, answered every question that I asked. I believe that he will do a great job with my future surgery. He came highly recommended by my other surgeon that is ranked at the top of all surgeons in that area of expertise. He speaks clearly and is passionate about his work. KW

I had an appt today 10/31/17 at 9:30 am and i arrived early as instructed at 9:15. I had all my paperwork filled out that i received in the mail. Was checked in and sat down in the waiting area. There were several patients who arrived late for their procedures and they were seen promptly. I waited patiently until almost 10 am. I asked the white-haired older lady at the front desk check in if I had been forgotten? She stated No, that the Dr had just come out of surgery. As far as I know, she never bothered to ask anyone, she just looked on the computer. I was finally called back at 10:30am. An hr past my appt time. The blonde lady that called me back said it was her fault that I had sat in the waiting room for so long, she thought I was a surgery patient!! No, I was just there for a consult. I also felt like Dr. Mangalat barely examined me he just talked to me for about 10 mins, then said he couldn't help me. Which is fine. I have a very bad back and it hurt me to sit there that long… in the waiting area!! And my home is a 30 min drive from there, I'm sure Dr Mangalat is prob a great doctor, but his staff is lacking in customer service!! The older white haired lady with glasses at the front check -in should have asked someone about me. Instead of assuming that the Dr being in surgery had caused the delay.
