Dr. Diana Ioana Mummert, MD

She clearly does not care about her patients. Visits last no more than 2-4 minutes, and she asks almost no questions...because she doesn't really care what the answers are, anyway. She is odd--makes me feel uncomfortable...it's like she's looking through you, not at you. She dismisses symptoms when you report them to her. Very cold and uncaring. I went somewhere else and couldn't believe the difference in care--she should practice some other form of medicine...one that doesn't require personal interaction with patients. So glad I moved on!

she didn't listen, i felt a language barrier so i repeated myself a lot. she does NOT take honest notes. the meds she gave me made me go crazy. both 2 dr after her (1 before move 1 after) and they all like whhhhyy would she give you that????

She is very dismissive to issues discussed. If a couple of medications do not work; she will start treating you like you are drug seeking (with zero history and medications that aren't even abused) rather than what you are there for, just trying to get back to a place of functioning again. Or tell you those are just normal emotions; when they are absolutely not. Having been on 1 medication that worked for 10 years that fizzled, to then experience this awful so-called medical professional when desperately trying to get back to a healthy place was a huge burden absolutely no one should ever have to face! I am so fortunate I had an excellent primary care doctor to balance out her incompetence while I found a decent, compassionate and helpful mental health professional.

I do kind of agree with some of the previous comments about her seeming cold and condescending. She's never really gone too in depth or given any diagnoses, but she cares about family history, as well as medication you've tried in the past. She tries her best to adjust my medication accordingly based on what I share with her, but I think she could be a lot more engaged with her patients.

I am really not sure how this doctor is in practice. Every appointment has lasted MAYBE 5 minutes max. While I already know my diagnosis and I have been treated for YEARS for it and seeing this office since 2009...10 years I had to start seeing Dr. Mummert for my medication which was annoying enough. Then they stopped taking United Insurance which costed me $200 out of pocket every three months. If you need a refill, you have to pay and now if you cancel when you got in an accident and have no transportation and have never cancelled after 10 years...they bill me for a cancellation for $75. This doctor's office and especially Dr. Mummert care about the money and not the patients. Never once has my appointment been more than me telling the doctor what I have been on previously and her writing a script and walking out the door. Go elsewhere with professional, not greedy and more intelligent doctors.

Worst doctor ever. She does not listen to her patients. Her only goal is to make money and make the numbers of medications prescribed decrease without any thought or care for the patient. I have yet to meet anyone who has anything good to say about her. I don't know why the office continues to keep her there. They need to hire a doctor who listens and helps their patients and doesn't try to second guess a diagnosis that has been given to a patient. Asking questions is one thing but expecting a patient to redo years of testing just to appease her is ridiculous. If you want someone to mess up your medication and who doesn't care about you the patient, then she is a perfect match. Otherwise, go somewhere else. I will be searching for a new doctor. I gave her a few tries but after being treated like I'm an ignorant person who knows nothing about my own health, I've decided to find someone who wants to listen and help me. The other doctors at the practice are great as is the… staff so please do not let this review affect your decision to see them.

When I asked why she didn't fill out the disability paperwork that my insurance asked for, she outright told me that she thought it was for Social Security and she does not fill out Social Security Disability paperwork because it is too intensive. There are people losing their benefits because this woman does not want to put in any effort to fill out the paperwork??? She is not in the psychiatry business to help people. She is cold and condescending.. I called her office 3 or 4 times because they kept forgetting to send the medicine scripts in. Medicine and paperwork are extremely important and no one in that office seems to care. Finally had to go to the office in person several times when it wasn't a scheduled visit to take care of meds and paperwork. Should lose her license.

I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH SOME ISSUES FOR A LONG TIME AND FINALLY WAS CONVINCED TO GO SEE A DOCTOR AND WHEN I WENT TO SEE HER I FELT LIKE SHE WASNT LISTENING OR REALLY CARED ABOUT MY PROBLEMS. I FELT LIKE IT WAS A WASTE OF MY TIME AND OF MY MONEY. I SAW HER IN THE FORT WORTH OFFICE AND I HAD TO WAIT OVER A HOUR TO BE SEEN. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND STILL NO BETTER WHEN I WALKED IN THOSE DOORS. :(

Great experience! The staff were very friendly and Dr. Mummert was easy to talk to.

I feel like she really listened to me and is very knowledgeable.
