Dr. Diane Sue Voss, MD

Been a patient for more than 20 years. Yes, she is always late, yes, she takes time to talk and evaluate, more valuable than the wait. She is kind, she explains, she willingly works within the patient's comfort zone. She hates the computer, so do I. Would appreciate finding where she has disappeared to, no one will tell. Need appt. Don't abandon us!

Why yes she spends a lot of time with you, but that also means your left waiting.......for very extended periods of time. I waited the first time for around two and a half hours which is absolutely insane!!!!!! I thought maybe it was a fluke, nope went back again and waited again for almost three hours. She has no regard for your time. I spent my whole day in there. There is no going back to work while waiting on her. She is also incredibly rude to her staff. Completely ridiculous.

Excellent, caring and very knowledgeable.

Usually have to wait when I arrive timely for my appointments but is worth it due to her in depth dicussion and questioning to help her make a better dicission. Other Doctor I ahve had you are in and out in 5 minutes and have had a few wrong-bad interactions with meds.

Like what all the other 4 star reviewers have said plus more: a deep, proactive awareness of disease/conditions causes -- more than symptomatic diagnoses, a rare phenomenon.

I totally agree with the very first review. I moved 2 hours away from Dr. Voss and started with another Doctor. What a nightmare that was with long waits and very little time spent with me, plus a variety of mistakes and lots of prescribing of many drugs. I was more comfortable driving two hours to see Dr. Voss again and waiting for up to two hours to see her because I KNEW she would take plenty of time with me and be very careful about prescribing medications, and only when necessary. Because I'm very open to alternative ways of healing, she works with me to find less dangerous answers than pill popping. I have found tremendous relief from anxiety and psoriasis through acupuncture, which she thoroughly believes in. The wait to see her may be long(and for good reason because everyone is treated with respect and knows they count) but if you don't want a poke, scope, and dope doctor who thinks of nothing but making MORE MONEY, she is the right fit, at least for me. I've been harmed… by many doctors that thought nothing of prescribing very addictive medications that I had to spend a tremendous amount of money and emotional stamina to get free of. A two hour drive and up to two hours of waiting are nothing when you have lost ten years of your life because of the negligent care by other doctors.

Dr. Voss is very caring and makes you feel at ease. There is no pompous attitude on her part and she is very careful not to over prescribe medications, especially those that are addictive, unlike so many doctors do. Maybe she could be well rewarded by drug companies for prescribing harmful medications, but instead she tries hard to find alternative methods for you instead of always pushing meds. That's quite remarkable on her part, especially in this day and age of the "drug representative" prancing in an out of doctor's offices spouting out the wonder of their drugs. I thank her for being so cautious with her patient's lives and health. The common person can relate to this doctor. I highly recommend her, although it can be stressful and tiring waiting such long periods to see her, but she does not allow her staff to run patients through like cattle, instead she takes time with everyone to make sure your visit is worth every penny and that you feel validated as a person when you… walk out.

One can expect to sit in the waiting room a while before being seen by Dr. Voss, BUT it is well worth the wait. I know that she is taking time with other patients, just as she does with me. She is honest, supportive, very kind, and helpful. Listens to my concerns, responds to my needs. She is knowledgeable and stays up to date on medical advances.

I like Dr. Voss she is very smart and cares very much about her patients. That being said, be prepared to wait a very long time to see her. I have waited up to two hours to see her. The front office is unprofessional, sloppy attire, drinking soda etc.
