Dr. Dieter Pohl, MD

I had the nisson surgery in late 2015 within two years I had some heartburn within three years I had full-blown heartburn worse than I ever had it and when I went to see the doctor he told me I was watching to many commercials. Big mistake!

Dr. Pohl is an amazing surgeon and a kind and compassionate doctor. He answered all of my questions and I felt very confident in his capable hands. I appreciated the efficiency and professionalism of his staff as well. I am a little over a week out from my bypass and I feel terrific.

I am a nurse and I can truthfully state that he cares about his pts. He is kind and has a gentle spirit. His office staff is professional and their response time to return a call is wonderful. They are knowledgable and will spend their time to help you.

I have had only good experiences each and every time that I have had an appointment with Dr. Pohl or one of his associates. I feel that his staff, and I mean receptionists, are professional and courteous most of the time. Although, none have ever been rude to me, I have witnessed some short temperedness with other patients.. however, I do not know what the issue was as it was none of my business and I am not sure how the patient contributed to such a reaction. Personally, I have never experienced any issues at this office.

Dr Pohl seems very nice and it is evident that he cares about his patient's. However, his staff (and I mean secretaries) are very rude and UNPROFESSIONAL. When your working with people it requires you to be customer service oriented and they certainly are not. Patient's talk to one another and others outside of the practice and I am sure Dr Pohl does not want to get a bad reputation because of his staff.

He is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He takes the time to understand his patients wants and needs. Very good bedside manner. I would have to say this was by far the best surgical experience i have under gone.

I am still undergoing treatment but thus far he is excellent across the board
