I call to schedule an appointment with Dr Mazur for a torn meniscus. Who based on his profile and reviews specializes in this repair. The scheduler asks me about 10 yes or no questions then tells me it's not appropriate for me to see him or his PA. WHAT?? THE SCHEDULER DECIDES I CAN'T SEE THE DR BASED ON YES-NO QUESTIONS??? If this is how I'm treated just trying to schedule an appointment.. NO THANKS!!!

Had my knee surgery in late November, feeling great! If I need to get my other knee done, I would not hesitate whatsoever! Great job!

Somewhat rude, told me to lose weight and Rx for knee brace. He wouldn’t operated on me said “I was too high of a risk” and Paoli Hospital couldn’t handle my issues. Asked him why then is Paoli a Certified Trauma Center, which he never answered. He’s picks the operations he wants to do. Go to someone else. Medicare rejected his Rx for the knee brace, not sufficient information provided.

Perfect bedside manner by putting my already unnerved self at ease. Concise explanation of my MRI from multiple angles. Unlike past surgical consults his last recommendation was surgery. I feel better already based on his recommendations and he will surely do any future surgery. Instills confidence!!!

Easy appointment. Quick in and out but took time to chat with me about other things. Nice doctor. Looking forward to getting the surgery over with.

A brilliant surgeon with a great bedside manner. Takes his time with his patience and explains Procedures and how they will be performed His PA Sarah is absolutely wonderful. Is always there to answer questions, return his calls even on her days off and vacation. My suggestion to you would be give that woman a raise she deserves it!

I could hardly walk anymore. After a few weeks I was walking better than I have in years. Dr Mazur and the Rothman staff were all very caring and professional. I was made very comfortable from the time I’ve scheduled my surgery

I know 2 late 20's athletic girls that went to Mazur and received the best in bed side manner and care. Both for meniscectomy. They loved him before, during, after surgery. I met Mazur on surgery day and he was nice to me. He did a great job with my surgery. My meniscectomy has been great for me ever since. When I went to follow up with questions a few months later (my recovery was 6 months until I was able to play sports again), he was very short with me and seemed to want me out of his office asap. I remember feeling like crap leaving his office that day. The 2 girls referenced above did not have the same experience post surgery, they thought he was the greatest/sweetest post surgery. That's why they referred me to him. Summary: Great surgeon, don't expect much tenderness from him post surgery if you're a dude :0)

My knee surgery experience was really a good one which sounds hard to believe. It all started from the top with the leader ... Dr. Mazur. I can't say enough about Dr. Mazur, his knowledge, professionalism, caring, kindness and his sense of humor. A wonderful doctor and wonderful man. Also, a great staff backing him up. My experience at Physicians Care Surgery Center was great. Dr. Mazur has a wonderful surgical team. The nurses, doctors and therapists were excellent. I have another knee that has to be replaced and when the time comes, I'll be running back to Dr. Mazur.

He is rude and condescending. I was referred to Dr Mazur by another orthopedist at Rothman Institute after an MRI which confirmed I had a torn meniscus and arthritis. He entered the examination room with an attitude. He took one look at me and said lose weight and here's a prescription for a knee brace. This was May of 2018. I am currently scheduled to have a total knee replacement with another surgeon not affiliated with Rothman. I broke my ankle several years ago and was treated by another Dr at Rothman and was treated with who was genuine care and nd respect.. I couldn't have asked for a better orthopedist. Dr Mazur gives Rothman Institute a bad name. Ir's sad to know how one ignorant orthopedist can ruin Rothman Institute's reputation!!! My advice is to find another orthopedist!
