Dr.Blecker is a very caring MD. He listens and asks questions concerning your condition. He leaves no stone unturned as he delves into the cause or cause of your health. I am very happy that I was able to become one of his patients!!

He takes time to make sure you understand

Dr Blecker didn’t seem to listen to me or care that I am suffering with pain. He barely says anything at all. I feel so bad after each visit. Like I am not worth his time to diagnose or treat.

i met dr blecker when in RI when my dad first became ill over 2 years ago. he has has a never ending uti for almost 2yrs. either being treated w/wrong antibiotic(he has mrsa)or for not long enough. had to press issues for further testing which revealed an ecoli infection in his spine!! which caused a great deal of pain and degenerated vertebrae. this past week in the ongoing saga of the uti, does not feel it is neccasary to check urine when antibiotics are finished and infection ultimately returns. had to insist that his temp was 104 and he was admitted with urosepsis,a life threatening condition. this has been coming and going, but dr seems to think he is just getting old and achy. with his complex history i would hope that his symptons would be taken more seriously. maybe a gerentologist would be more empathetic???

He would not go along with my psychiatrists recommendation to keep my TSH at 1.0 give or take .25. I have suffered severe depression in the past which has been exacerbated by hypothyroidism. My current level of 8.61 is causing me to be depressed, sleepy and gaining weight.
