Dr McDowell Is one of the best Emergency Room Physicians I have been blessed to have worked with. Besides his impeccable critical skills... His compassion for humanity surpasses my own. Dr. McDowell deserves more than a 2 star rating I and my wife have been served by Dr. McDowell on several occasions with great results. My opinion is that Dr. McDowell should have no less than a rating of 4 sand 1/2 stars.

Told me he was going to have me thrown in jail for calling him "dude" when i was at a pain level of 9 out of ten. This guy needs a career change. Or jail himself.

this doctor is very unprofessional he is disrespectful of his patients. at my hospital it is a small town and i moved here 10 years ago i have severe crohn's disease and i have a lot of problems with pain and flares and i unfortunately end up in the er a lot and i have seen him numerous times and since i am on and off pain medications for years and he has accused me of being a addict and he has misdiagnosed me a few times. my sister just seen him and she has a very bad back problem and he belittled her and made snide comments to my mom and he did not help my sister at all and sent her home he even misdiagnosed my nephew when he was an infant told my sister he was fine sent him home and my sister had to take him back in cause he got worse well the woman who seen him told her he had pneumonia and a bladder infection he was just a baby and could have ended up much worse had she not taken him back in he needs to be fired he is unprofessional and unethical don't trust his diagnosis get a… second opinion i don't even know why is a doctor he obviously does not like it and is not very good at it
