Dr. Elena Cecilia Cucurull, MD

She just wanted easy non complicated issues. Felt like she was always rushed and put easy label on me. Very disappointed had to find new Dr. As mine who was fabulous retired and arrive to her and so very disappointed!

When I lived in Denham Springs, Elena was my doctor for about 7 years. I wish I could have taken her with me when I left. She is the most through, pleasant physician I have ever had and resolved several major issues I encountered while living in the South.

Not the best by far

I have been seeing Dr Cucurull since 2011 and have not seen any effort. All these years she was supposed to be running a number of test but recently found out by my GP that she has only been doing one the last 3 years. As I would explain to her my struggles and pain she would smirk at me then respond with a, "well I don't wanna put you on pain medicine" and then suggest a Mediterranean diet. Everyone please keep in mind that I will have chronic pain the rest of my life but her biggest concern is my possible dependency of medication. That really ticks me off. She would rather send me home suffering than take the time to understand. Some days the pain is unbearable, very uncomfortable, and even some days leaving me in tears. I would leave her office so confused of why I would ever pay a doctor to treat me as a drug addict. I can reassure everyone that her decision would not be because of my appearance, behavior, conduct, or age. I'm a patient that has had little to no drug usage in the… past. I have injuries to my spine as well as Fibromyalgia and likeliness of Lupus. My day starts off and end very painfully. I only want to live comfortably and really need help from a caring and/or motivated doctor. The last 15 months I have stressed to her some new and worsening pain in my hands and feet but she still has not taken any steps to help in the least bit. She makes me feel like I'm a liar and I've had enough. To top it off her scheduler is extremely rude.
