after living in key west for almost 20 years, I finally needed a doctor following numerous leg surgeries in Miami. having always heard great things about dr gerth, I figured he would be a fine choice. after meeting him, it was obvious why so many people love this guy. he is straightforward, calming, meticulous and confident. I look forward to many years with him. although the wait times at the the office on truman ave can be lengthy (it is a walk-in clinic), I found the staff very friendly and accommodating. and besides, it's key west, you're bound to see a friend in there:)

Dr. Gerth is brilliant! When my husband's doctors up North could not get my husband back on track after a serious operation, we headed to Key West and Dr. Gerth. My husband improved 300% because of Dr. Gerth's careful and meticulous interpretation of lab results and overall diagnosis.

As a nurse, I knew what was wrong with me -- a "simple urinary tract infection". All I needed was an antibiotic. On vacation in Key West, I was referred to the Truman Medical Center and Dr. Gerth was the attending that day. Not only did Dr. Gerth talk about the UTI and how it may relate to/affect my chronic renal insufficiency, he also reviewed my medications and made suggestions for changes. Once home, I asked my own internal medicine physician about Dr. Gerth's recommendations for changing dosage frequencies. He agreed that the medication schedule should indeed be changed.I found Dr. Gerth to be an exceptionally knowledgeable, thorough, and caring physician. I would have absolutely no qualms in returning to his care at any time (vacation help or primary MD). Trust me, as a nurse, that's saying a LOT! Thank you, Dr. Gerth!

I was very impressed with Dr. G. He was confident and made me feel safe. He was not expensive at all, and best of all, he fixed my problem!

Worst doctor I have seen in 35 years. He should be audited by medicare because of bad practices and sending everyone he sees to get a diagnostic test.

Dr. gerth has an excellent manner in talking with patients and explaining diagnosis, medications and treatment plan.

This is the worst doctor and practice I have ever seen. He is caustic, unprofessional, and should be audited by Medicare. He is dishonest.

Been seeing him for several years, first saw him in hospital when I became severely dehydrated, with other complications. Have been seeing him regularly ever since. He is caring, compassionate and takes the time to listen. It is obvious that he is very busy, but I never feel overlooked or neglected.
