Dr. Elias Halpert, MD

Dr Halpert is my rheumatologist for the last 20 years and I’m very satisfied with him treating my Lupus and now another autoimmune disorder. He’s very attentive and always having my best interest. I appreciate his patience and honesty and professionalism whenever I’m in his office. His nurse Beth is always there for me when needed in between appointments. I’m very happy with Dr Halpert.

I made an appoint almost 3 to 4 months ago “they were booked up”. Each time it was time to go the very sarcastic and nasty office girl said my provider was lying to me about faxing the referral numerous times . Conspiracy !! What a joke! She suggested making a new appointment 2 to 3 months from my last one. Are they gonna claim conspiracy in 3 months. I’m not gonna find out because this doctor and his people truly don’t care about patients in my opinion. The doctor is allowing this to happen. After I had time to read all the reviews I’m very grateful I didn’t put myself in harms way by seeing this so called physician. I think it’s time the “good” doctors gets a hobby or goes fishing and let someone who cares take care of the public. Wish him well. Thank god I didn’t let him diagnose my issues because they would be a bad diagnosis in my opinion!!

Fighting gout for years and Dr. Halpert was the only one to get it under control. I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr Halper is a kind gentle educated gentleman with a horrible staff. Sadly I rather be in pain than going back.

Dr Halpert is a great doctor, always willing to listen and always with a smile. I took my mom to Dr. Halpert to treat her arthritis and since then, she is feeling great.

Excellent Doctor

First time I saw him for a second opinion, he was patient, kind, compassionate and listened to my struggles trying to find a treatment plan. Second visit...Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde...Rude, impatient, uncompassionate and worst of all dismissive with no treatment plan for a chronic pain patient suffering and having two doctors with two totally different views and plans. Left feeling hopeless. Once they become this way they need to stop treating patients. First do no harm.

He actually reviewed my reports, checked out my problem and offered an immediate solution. He explained why some options were not appropriate for me but then offered another. I won't change this doc even though I have to drive 45 min in traffic to see him!

Kind, respectful, attentive, communicative and most importantly gave definitive answers to my questions re: this incurable, progressive disease in connection with my chronic, debilitating pain and potential treatments. Didn't skirt the issues or ignore questions.
