Dr. Elisabeth C Mcgowan, MD

Dr. McGowan is currently one of the doctors in the nicu tending to my son. This women has gone above and beyond with the care she provides. She answers all questions and explains every test and all results . She has a great team here at women n infants. My family could not be more thankful to have her.

Stay far away from this “Doctor” and if she ends up being assigned to you at Women and Infants after you deliver, request someone else immediately. She has HORRID bedside manner and wouldn’t even explain the medical diagnosis she gave my child (in which her regular pediatrician had no issue with or concerns) but McGowan made our situation seem so dire and extreme. I literally had tears streaming down my face ,I was fresh from the delivery room by a few hours mind you, and she didn’t even offer an “it’s alright” or anything. She was very late ordering tests and had no idea upon entering my room what results were or if the test had even been done. She was a complete mess and her bedside manner is just terrible. Seriously request someone else.
