Dr. Ellen Jean Hirsh, MD

Dr. Hirsh is absolutely wonderful! She is so caring and thorough and really takes the time to listen and assess. I went into her office extremely sick and she got me the care I needed right away. Without her I don’t know where I would be today, she saved my life! Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough infectious disease doctor! She is determined not only to figure out the diagnosis but she systematically breaks down every piece of the puzzle to figure it out and comes up with a detailed plan of how to fix it! She really cares about her patients and only wants the best outcome! Thank you dr. Hirsh for giving me my life back !

very nice and patient. I was vey upset about my situation and she was very understanding.

I could never recommend this doctor to anyone! Took numerous blood tests and an ultrasound for possible liver damage. Had to call after 2 weeks to find out anything about the tests and was told it take 3 weeks for all the tests to come back (after I was told 2 weeks). It's now been over a month and not a word. Called again the other day and still have not received even a courtesy call. I've never been to a specialist who shows (and allows her staff to show) this degree of indifference.

I will keep this brief. I went in for an emergency visit. Dr Hirsh treated me so poorly. I left the office crying. Told me she had no time to answer my questions, she had her own patients waiting. At the time I was told I had a very serious infection But she didnt care. I walked out with no information at all. I would highly recomend not using this group at all.I found from the front desk and on a horrible experiance. Please look else where if you need a infectious disease doctor!!!!!

I would highly recommend Dr. Hirsh. SHe was a delight and very caring.
