Dr Rafal is thorough, concerned and carting. She spends a good amount of time explaining your situation, the alternatives and consequences. It is rare to find a doctor who does not rush you, is not dismissive and is available.

If I could give this doctor zero stars...it would be more fitting! Dr. Rafael is only after your money and not the patients best interest. Waited over an hour on my office visit! Totally inconsiderate! Went in for injectables only to be given something different than what I asked for and they way she administered the shots was not only painful but downright awful! I was bruised for over a week all over my face. Went back after the 10 days for follow up ...only to wait another 45 minutes for this rude doctor! she tried to tell me I needed more because she wanted me to spend more money! Then Stood there with a blank look on her face after I said NO and she ran out of the room. Didn’t care about her patient whatsoever.. completely unprofessional...... Horrible doctor...terrible experience! The only positive thing about this office is the staff. They are super nice and very helpful. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ...FIND A BETTER DOCTOR!

I had terrible experiences with every aspect of this practice, from dermatology to skin procedures to laser treatments to customer service. First because this is most important, I do not feel that Dr. Rafal is a trustworthy doctor for multiple reasons: 1. Instead of offering medical counsel she was evidently more concerned with promoting her products, even by means of insult (i.e. rudely pointing out your skin’s flaws in an attempt to persuade you to purchase). 2. Despite my family having a history of skin cancer she was never proactive in recommending precautionary measures such as routine exams, nor did she bother to check me even if I was already there for something else. 3. She failed to provide any pertinent information regarding procedures. What I thought was going to be a shave removal of a mole turned out to be an excision with stitches that left me with a big, nasty scar. I was unaware of this because she did not properly explain it beforehand nor did she have me sign the… consent form until AFTER it was done. I could have (and should have) walked out right then and sued! Moving on to laser treatments, they subjected my body to more than double the number of treatments they originally recommended upon purchasing the package, at an interval frequency that was not deemed safe by many other doctors, still with disappointing results opposite of what was marketed. Safety measures were not followed here either, with the necessary preparatory actions never communicated. They severely lack in customer service, especially the older receptionist who is very unknowledgeable and unprofessional. They prefer to inconvenience their customers rather than their employees, as I was always asked to adjust my appointment times around what would be better for the laser technician. There were multiple occasions where I showed up for my appointment and either the office was closed or she was running late. On one occasion, upon my arrival they told me the machine was broken so they couldn’t perform the service (which no one notified me of in advance) and that they would call me to set up another appointment once it was fixed, which they did not. Lastly, when I called to express my concerns about finishing my treatments, they never even had the decency to call me back to discuss any of it with me. That just proves how little they care about their patients! That was the final straw for me. I am beyond upset with how much time and money I wasted. I will make sure to inform everyone what a terrible, unethical practice this is.

Let’s face it, good skin is not all genetic. In order to keep skin glowing to it’s optimal youthful look, it takes work. Dr. Rafal and her staff are simply amazing when it comes to making you the best and most natural version of you! I have used Dr. Rafal for many years for everything from annual body scans, rashes, mole removals to aesthetics. She is extremely professional, yet personable and spends a good amount of time explaining everything. I appreciate that personal approach. As a former sun worshiper, I could not be more pleased with the results of treatments that I have received at the office. I love Aerolase, a laser with virtually no downtime to rid skin of hyperpigmentation as well as collagen building. I regularly do a procedure called “Dermaplane”which exfoliates dry skin and gets rid of those pesky peach fuzz. When it comes to using injectables, Dr. Rafal is my go to person. She is an artist of sorts achieving the most natural looking results. I am still me,… with a natural looking enhanced version of a more youthful version of myself. I am extremely pleased with the results and the complements from other women and my husband that I have received. Thank you!!!!

This is not a review on her competence. Her competence is no better than any other Dermatologist. What I find sets her apart, in a negative way, is the fact that she does not return phone calls. The only one time I got a phone call from her was when I told her office that if she does not call me, with Biopsy results, I would write a review. My phone rang 10 minutes later, and guess who it was! Sold me a product for $12 and found it in CVS for $6. A week later, I called the office to tell them that I will probably be coming in for something else, but could she please call me before I book the appointment (I was not sure I needed one). No phone call, hence, felt a review was necessary.

Dr. Rafael is very knowledgeable about rejuvenating procedures for me. She has expertise in this area and I have been extremely pleased with the results.

Would not recommend Dr. Rafal or her office to anyone. Waited 45 minutes in an empty waiting room to see a nurse, who honestly gave me more information and attention than Dr. Rafal did. She finally came into the room, and gave my skin the most cursory glance-over I've ever witnessed. I was there for a skin check and she glanced at my shins, thighs, back, and chest. I had to actually draw her attention to my arms, where most of my concerns were. I also mentioned concerns about my brittle nails, for which she said she would provide me with a cream. I go to close out at the front desk and she tries to sell me TWO of her products, one for $75 that wasn't even marketed for nails (I later researched the active ingredients, no current research has been done on their effect on nail growth). She would have scammed a less-aware patient into buying these products I'm sure. To top everything off, her biller doesn't seem to have any idea what she's doing, and I am now being threatened with a bill… going to collection because she doesn't understand HMOs. I have already asked her to resubmit the claim, and she once again did it incorrectly. I am FURIOUS and absolutely will NOT be paying that bill out of pocket - not for the terrible service I received.

I am so beyond grateful to Dr. Rafal and her team. Everyone is so genuine, kind & thoughtful. I suffered from severe hair loss about a year ago, and I was completely distraught. Dr. Rafal assured me that my hair would grow back through PRP treatments, and it did. I came in upset & worried that my hair would never grow back and she promised that after each treatment I would see a difference. She was so caring and answered any questions I had. I’m so thankful for Dr. Rafal and her amazing team.

I have never posted a negative review about a doctor until today. Every time I look in the mirror and see the scarring on my face from her inexperience with injectable fillers, I'm reminded of the high pressure, hard sell I was put through. I was also left alone many times in the room for unexplained absences. The staff just smiles and nods. The behavior was more like nail salon than a medical practice.
