Dr. Emily Katherine Beamer, MD

Emily Beamer sent me home with no treatment twice which resulted in me have to go to the emergency room the first time and to urgent care the second time. Both times the emergency rooms clearly saw that I was having physical symptoms and actually paid attention to me. I know when something is wrong with my body. I do not recommend this doctor.

The Rush system doesn't let you call the doctors office directly...you're communication is dependent on your message being communicated by a third party...this is stupid and most of the time your message is not communicated to the doctor's office. Two, Dr. Beamer doesn't follow up with important medical info.......need that script in a hurry? Don't bother with her. Need to talk to her over the phone about something? You'll be waiting until you're half dead.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. The office staff is the least professional I have ever encountered. If you want professional medical service, DO NOT visit this doctor's office.

I had to keep calling for my test results. The nurse acted as if I was bothering her for inquiring about my results. Each time I ask to speak to the Doctor she is always busy and the nurse is the only one that returns my calls. I was instructed to take medicine with no follow up blood test.

Don't let the rude staff fool you, Dr. Beamer is a superb doctor!

She's smart, quick, and careful. Her physical exam is the most complete I've received in years. She knows her stuff, listens and integrates your needs to make an effective plan for your care. Her staff is not the best but once you're with Dr. Beamer you'll not receive better care.
