Dr. Erena Treskova Salen, MD

Dr. Treskova treated my son from age 8 to 11. He came to her with stomach pain. She did an endoscopy and colonoscopy with lots of stool sample tests. He was found to have a juvenile polyp. After this, every six months he was subjected to colonoscopy and endoscopy, including a capsule endoscopy, none of which were necessary. I only found this out later after moving to Texas and going to a pediatric GI at Texas Children’s Hospital, Dr. Gitakawa, who told us that pediatric polyps don’t need to be removed, they will resolve on their own, and he never needed all of the colonoscopies. Of course, she has part ownership of a colonoscopy procedure place in Jersey. We spent almost ten years being worried our son had a high percentage of getting polyps and possibly cancer, which is why she was repeating all those colonoscopies and tests, which absolutely wasn’t the case. Either she’s a criminal or incompetent. Even the lab technicians at Quest Labs knew something was wrong. They hated dealing… with the volume of tests she ordered.

The only doctor who takes time to really find out what is wrong and get the whole, holistic picture, and she will find it! If I didn't come to her office, I would have never found out my son was suffering from growth hormone deficiency for years. There are lots of doctors who say all the nice things, but do nothing. Dr. Trescova will not entertain anyone, but if you need to get the right diagnosis for your child, you need to see her!

Dr Treskova is very helpful! My child has stomach pain on and off. We saw Dr Treskova and followed her advised and instructions. We did endoscopy and colonoscopy and found out the real issue of my child's stomach pain. We are very happy that we found Dr Treskova! She and her staff are very helpful and compassionate. It is a very busy office but her staff make sure they accommodate the needs of all parents. Another useful tool is the Patient Portal. I always use my smart phone and using patient portal, is a great tool to communicate with Dr Treskova and I feel that Dr Treskova is always on my side when I use the patient portal to answer all my questions. I recommend Dr Treskova because of her expertise and alternative and holistic approaches. Thank you Dr Treskova!

Dr. Treskova was rude, gave short responses via email not answering our direct questions about our child's medical issues and care, she refused to speak to us on phone during care/after receiving test results, gave us incomplete care directions, and an incomplete diagnosis after receiving test results. Rude staff as well. Makes parents feel lost, confused and as if our questions and our child's health are not important.

We are very happy with the Doctor. She is very though and knowledgable and very easy to get in touch with her outside of office through patient portial. She always responses quickly. She spent a lot of time with us during our visits and we never felt rushed. Our son is doing better since she diagnosed him with ulcerative colitis. She also likes to try natural remedies with medicine. Which we like that about her. However as far as bedside manners she wasn't very soft spoken and comforting to my son like I thought a pediatric doctor would be. She was just this is the way it has to be and that's it. Overall I would defiantly recommend her. We also had to see other specialist and when they found out we were seeing De. Treskova they said we were in very good hands.

Thank you Dr. Treskova to help my son since 5 years ago. He has a lot of allergies and that is affecting his life with migraines. Doctor Treskova mix regular medicine with natural treatments and give you a great guide of what to eat and what not to eat. Dr. Treskova is very organized and detail oriented, she give you all the information about your child (printed) after you leave. She really is an excellent doctor.
