Never introduced himself or spoke with me before or after my surgery which he performed.

Zero bedside mannor. Literaly will ignore your questions. Went in for sugury and was screaming in pain. He wouldnt even eye contact. I found out later he is hard of hearing. If a doctor performing surgury cannot hear the patient screaming he doesnt need to be operating.

I had a surgery done and went back for a check up and had a lot of questions. I waited for 2 hours saw the dr. For 2 minutes and he walked out of the room while I was asking him a question. I wish I could give less then one star.

This doctor just refused to see me, even though I am a previous patient in good standing with severe, possibly deadly bladder problems. I may end up in the hospital again now over the weekend and this office DOES NOT CARE.

The PAs and the front desk are very helpfull, but the Doctor acts like you are a bother rather then a patient of his. I came back the next day, bleeding, after an out patient surgery and he would not even come look. The PA had to go back and forth to him with my questions. You deserve to be treated better.

With 3 PA’s, 4 medical assistants, and only one doctor, patient care is delegated to the extreme. Two visits to Dr Stockall’s office and five days in Ingham Hospital with a subsequent UTI and sepsis and we never once spoke to the doctor. Our single encounter was him popping his head into an exam room to introduce himself. Maybe 15 seconds total. Staff was competent and courteous but limited on what they could offer. After our very unsatisfactory experience with Stockall, we sought out another urologist (Dr. Kimar, Troy, MI) who spend time patiently explaining the problem and outlining the entire range of options. After much discussion, we agreed the best option to pursue was likely HoLEP. He then referred us to a urologist at University of Michigan who is an expert in the HoLEP procedure. We are now confident we are on the right path and so grateful for the professional care and counsel given by Dr Kimar. Too bad we couldn’t have gotten the same level of care and concern… from Dr Stockall/staff.

The office staff is absolutely ridiculous, and beyond rude. Dont bother asking questions, theyre too busy for that. I dont want to say all the receptionists are this way, but one apple ruins the bunch. Especially if this person is the main person. Dr. Stockall is never in and when he is, he is ALWAYS rushed. He did a surgery on me and was PLANNING another with ZERO info on the first surgery, THAT WAS THE EXACT SAME SURGERY!!! I couldnt believe it! His PA had to remind him right in front of me in the room. In my personal opinion, this should have been handled before they came in the room to address my current issue. He did some skimming of my file and came to the conclusion that i needed another surgery. Now its been a week since the surgery and theyre telling me I have no restrictions and am able to go back to work. an opinion formed from no informaton given! This office is sad. Please, im warning you, do not go here. Wish i could leave a zero star rating.

PA showed more concern than The Dr. Never prescribed a medication just said it's a chronic condition of women my age...

The wait time has been horrible. All but one time we have had to wait to be called back at least 45 min after scheduled appointment time. Mr Stockall hasn't spent hardly any time in the room with my dad. One time Mr Stockall never came in the room. One appointment the room was dirty. Dust on the equipment at least 1/8 of an inch, corrosion on the chair/bed they had him sit on with his bare tush. I guess the good thing about the office is the receptionist and his assistant Paul are very good and friendly. Would I recommend him to anyone NO WAY.

Past experiences were disappointing. The environment usually feels congested, hectic and I've left wondering who's in charge, the Dr. or his staff. Employees conduct discussions in common areas regarding patients, what I would consider, personal and confidential information. Dr. seems overbooked and rushed and have been seen by staff when I expected to see him. When I have it's usually rushed. I've had a very different experience at MSU Urology and would highly recommend them
