Dr. Erik Allen Pattison, MD

I first called Dr. Pattison’s practice for a follow-up after being hospitalized for a kidney stone. I was told the wait would be about 2-months, but most of their kidney stone patients see nurse practitioners and I could have an appointment in a few days. I declined and said I have a specific reason I would like to see an MD and would could wait for the appointment which I then scheduled. After the long wait and two days before my scheduled appointment I was called and told that he would be in surgery and couldn’t make my appointment, but I could see a nurse practitioner instead. I said I had waited 2-months specifically to see an MD and was offered an appointment with a nurse practitioner when I first called for the appointment. I was then told, OK, you’re now at the bottom of the list and you can wait two more months. They made no effort to try and fit in an earlier appointment and treated me like I was being difficult because I wanted to see a doctor. They just don’t care.

Great urologist who listened to my concerns and promptly addressed them with care and compassion, and, what's more, I am no longer experiencing pain or any urologic issues. I felt that I was in extremely good hands. I have recommended Dr. Pattison to friends and colleagues and will continue to do so.

He's a student! Then why didn't he listen to me when I suggested something?? The way he said 'no'. Not gruff, but I made a suggestion and he wouldn't even entertain it. Not that he can learn from anybody, but when I told him about another doctor he wouldn;t even question anything. "Live and learn, Erik!"
