Dr. Erin Tews Steidl, DO

She has been my doctor since oct. of last year. She has been amazing. my first pregnancy did not go as planned as I lost my son at 17 week. She was not there when I lost my son. but as soon as she was back in the office she called and followed up with me. I was in a hospital in another state at that time. she had her nurse contact me a week later and set up a follow up appointment. She was very upset at the way I was treated by their on call OB and she made sure to answer any questions. I have had some other issues over this past year and she has treated them very carefully. She is a wonderful Doctor.

I would not trust or recommend Dr Steidl to anyone. My pre natal appointments were fine (albeit rushed). When I was in labor I found her to be dismissive and rushed I was pressured into an epidural by a nurse who kept stressing how Dr Steidl doesn’t like first time moms to go without one (so if you’re wanting a natural minded birth this is not the place for you!). After my postnatal appointment I called regarding anxiety and was prescribed a medication without her ever seeing or talking to me - the pharmacy told me it is NOT safe for breastfeeding so I called with concerns regarding this and was told it would be fine. Needless to say I did not take her advice and would not trust her at all. And to add to that the office staff is completely incompetent, can’t return phone calls, misplaced my medical records numerous times when they were sent from my old office out of state and the list goes on!

She always took care of my concerns
